I'm sad right now, but come Sunday, I know SHIMMER fans will send Danger off right. And we party with her afterwards. It'll be fun, and we'll celebrate her career in an awesome way.

I wonder what Portia's going to do for Dangers last match? Still be the douchey heel or go babyface?

I think Danger's last match will be Hamada, she's always wanted a singles match with her.

They didn't explicitly say that the four-way was a No. 1 Contender match (my mistake), but with it being labelled a Top Contender match, it's fairly assumed that Rush will probably get a title shot before the weekend is out.

The Ninjas tried to walk out but Skater & Nakagawa stopped them so they got DQ'd for hitting Veda and Shazza with the belts.

Sort of recovered from Day 1 of SHIMMER, a few hours away from going out to do it all again for Day 2. Day 1 was a lot of fun, and the last three matches of Volume 55 were amazing. I've been waiting for Kana vs. Eagles for 18 months, and it did not disappoint one bit. Such a good match. Hamada/Mercedes was almost as good, and Courtney Rush had her best ever match challenging Cheerleader Melissa for the title, the dance-off before was so funny, with Melissa only dancing when Rush wasn't looking, and she was so great at it, such a big pop. This title run for Melissa is already better than the last one. And the version of the Kudo Driver she did on Rush was unbelievable, had me marking out big time.
Nice storyline arc with the Ninjas and 3G, although the Ninjas getting counted out and DQ'd didn't make for the best of finishes for match quality. The 56 match card isn't out yet, but of the singles matches, hoping for Skater/Matthews, as I have a feeling they have a ****1/2+ match lurking between them. Have a feeling something's boiling that will lead to Saraya Knight's departure from the company, as she's now in a running battle with the referees, especially Andy Long. Think Bryce Remsburg might end up in the firing line. Eagles was the best wrestler yesterday, in addition to the Kana match, she was also really good in the four way, as she and Saraya f'd up Athena and Courtney, and each other.
More awesomeness up and down the card from Jessie McKay, who had good matches with Kana and Yuu Yamagata, Jessicka Havok, who had a good match with Serena Deeb, and was awesome in a tag, and we had probably the best ever SHIMMER match featuring two Berwyn debutantes in the form of Evie and Kimber Lee. Kalamity's also picking up steam with two wins, including one in a really funny match against MsChif.

That is pure awesomeness, with MsChif letting her hair down, I think it would be fun to see a bit of goofiness from Melissa now and then, not often, but once in a while, what kind of dancing did she do and I hope to god someone has a GIF of it.

Allison Danger's retirement match on Volume 57 will be Regeneration X versus Melissa and Hamada, while The Canadian NINJAs and Global Green Gangsters will have another tag title match on Volume 57 under No DQ, No Countout rules.
