Shows that even special attractions can only boost the ratings for so long.

Ouch. That's a brutal number. Rock is nothing special anymore to the audience. If only they used those shows where the casual fans were watching to spotlight the guys who are around all year, work house shows, etc...

I have a decent feeling the overrun did well.
But you have to survive 3 hours to get to it.

Remember when the third hour drop was CM Punk's fault?
I tapped out early last night, and I never do. It was actually a really good Raw, maybe I was just satisfied with 2 hours 15 minutes and didn't need the rest.

The problem being that I can't imagine that anyone that likes the Rock and his shenanigans enough to tune in is going to have their imagination captured by say Dolph Ziggler or Jack Swagger.

Pawn Stars had almost 5 million viewers at 10:30 PM, I'm not sure how the hell that happened

Not shocking, what was new on the show was actually pretty good. Just far too much recapping and advertisement even by Raw standards.

Ouch. That's a brutal number. Rock is nothing special anymore to the audience.... It is still better than it was before the Rumble. Roughly four million fans each hour beats having roughly three million tune in each hour.

It was actually a really good Raw, maybe I was just satisfied with 2 hours 15 minutes and didn't need the rest. Yeah, I'm starting to feel that way. Even when I'm enjoying a show you get to a point where you kind of want it to be over. 2 hours and a bit is more than enough really.

I wouldn't be surprised if WWE responds by putting Rock on more throughout the show instead of saving him until the last segment.

I can buy the rating being this far down. I felt the show was terrible and was the first time I've ever fell asleep during the show and wanted to do the same when I went back and watched it later on DVR with countless mismatches and drug out promos. This felt like just another post Mania season Raw that just happened to have Rock in the overrun.
