Mark Henry as a heel: There's no "hints of truth" or vagueness about him, he's just a mean sonofabitch, something that WWE heels need to be more of.
Cena as face: Sure, he could probably play a pretty good heel, he's done it before- but everything with the Shield is a good example as to why the turn isn't an immediant necessity now. All they need to do is put him under heavy pressure (like this current angle, or the Lesnar and Nexus things) and he'll get cheers in major cities. Whenever they avoid the "plucky heel stepping up to Cena's level" crap, his character ignites.
Del Rio as a face: It's the role he was meant to play. Him and Ricardo are clearly having a blast, and they could be a strong midcard mainstay down the road.

This might be an unpopular opinion, but Miz as a face. His small size and limited (but decent) in-ring skill makes him a very realistic and believable underdog. And he's so goofy looking and such a dork in real life that making him the corny joke telling face is actually an improvement for his character.
