Honestly, how many of Sheamus's jokes must bomb, before they give up on this comedy thing? "Wade Barrett is poopy"

It seems like the only reason they have them going at each other is to promote the movie. That being said, I actually chuckled at the thought that this is what passes for writing for a midcard feud. It's like they're fighting over a shampoo commercial. ....only this time, the straight to DVD movie seems less memorable than a shampoo commercial.

Maybe we could get a nice deep story about how Sheamus has known Wade since their days of being no named indie wrestlers in the UK and about how when they moved to America Sheamus was jealous of Wade or something, I dunno, but thinking for 2 seconds there has resulted in something better than "wade has a cameo in a movie, Sheamus mocks him because Colin Farall is the lead and he's irish so hey 2 irish people Sheamus must be friends with Farall, blah blah blah, blahy, blahnd."

One thing nobody has mentioned that has kinda soured me on the feud, is that we've seen Sheamus and Barrett face each other so many times before.
I remember there was a period where Sheamus hadn't beaten Wade at all. He'd had something like 2 draws and 2 defeats against him, really, creative should have left it at that. Left off the two facing each other so that Sheamus being unable to beat Barrett could play a part in the feud.
But nope, WWE decided to spoil that and have Sheamus start beating Wade every time they face. Why should I care about the feud when Sheamus has beaten Wade like 5 times now?
If WWE had kept them away from each other, with Wade been the one opponent Sheamus couldn't deal with then yeah... that would have been cool. Would have added some interest to the feud.

Bad booking. Sheamus comes off as a bully heel and like they are setting up Barrett to justifiably retaliate. I'm not usually one of those "faces are dicks" guys, but really, all Barrett has done is glorify a small role he plays in a film. With how obsessed Sheamus seems to be with the ordeal, I'd actually be happy to see Barrett elbow him in the face to shut him up. I'd like it if they became Sitcom Arch enemies. Just randomly out to destroy each other in ridiculous, not that violent, situations.

Honestly, how many of Sheamus's jokes must bomb, before they give up on this comedy thing? It's the hair. As long as he has the Bart Simpson 'do they're going to be book him as a clown. I'd prefer him to be the Celtic warrior but not when he spends 20 minutes spiking his hair before he come out. Anyway, it's sad to see how far Barrett has fallen since Nexus when he was a legit WWE title contender.

This has to be easily one of the most lazy and pathetic ways being used to set a PPV Match feud in a long time.

"Don't see the film, I'll say it's great then infer that it's actually garbage, Wade's hardly in it, what an idiot."
I hoped Wade would come out and say "Dickhead, I was in the film whilst recovering from a broken arm, starred in a movie with Colin Farrell, and don't have to rely on bullying tactics to get a rise out of someone. Sorry, you absolute moron." and drop the microphone.

Wade Barrett bragged that he was the star of the movie and then, when the trailer is shown, doesn't appear at all, unless it's behind a guy's shoulder for a half of a second. Suddenly Sheamus appears on the big screen, mocking Barrett. Laughing at this lie and then not allowing him to reply by saying "We're out of time." I still haven't figured that one out. "You don't get to talk in the movie, you don't get to talk here" And last night's promo was because the previous night was the Oscars.

I want Sheamus to keep both feuds going, with the announcers treating the two as separate people, never once wondering "Hey, shouldn't Sheamus be busy with that other thing?"
And he wrestles twice at Mania.

I didn't like it because they used Sheamus as this goofy comedy guy again. You never saw Triple H in his prime coming out there in a suit and doing a little comedy skit about his current rival. He beat the shit out of people and was pissed off 24/7. That's the character that got Sheamus over, and that's what they need to stick with. We don't need every stinking babyface to be a comedian.
