Yeah I hm get Joker is one of DJ's (and Jeez's) best friends but this is like the 4th or 5th time he's had something come up that has made him miss 2 shows.
Don't care about Adam Flash but cool to see Webb and Messiah come back

Not sure if this was on last Saturday's iPPV, but I see that CZW have moved from RF Video to Highspots.

I know they had deals with Highspots, SMV, and RF Video with RF Video being the ippv filmers. Not Shocked though as Highspots offered CZW A LOT of money originally. I don't think RF Video did poorly, but Highspots can do a lot more.

Oh and I found a little bit more out about why CZW switched to Highspots. Contract was up, Highspots offered a deal DJ "couldn't refuse" gave RF a chance to match, they said they couldn't.

So where are all the cool guys in CZW? When I used to watch you had all these rather memorable guys like Mox,Callihan,Younger,Damage,Gage,Zandig at times,Havoc,TJ etc. Now we got some guys that don't stick out at all. No one's really unique. And for the love of God bring back what made you famous, deathmatches!

they have plenty of good guys, the issue is that a lot of guys also work for Gabe.
And they really can't do a lot of deathmatches anymore due to the rules from the Skate Zone.

Then why don't they simply move? The Skate Zone is cheap has good parking, and is in a good location. The other thing to remember is DJ is trying to grow CZW and while he doesn't want to get rid of the death matches he wants to have the biggest audience he possibly can. And CZW has grown a lot in the last 3 years

Not at all, he just keeps the deathmatches for the big events; TOD, COD, and Tangled Webb as well as having one when they go to a new city (absolutely will not accept a booking in a venue that won't allow deathmatches), and will book them for special attractions. But he's not going to book every show to be nothing but deathmatches.

you are the only one then. Zandig was a horrible owner towards the end Didn't Zandig basically ruined the Big Japan relationship by himself? As far as the ultra violence goes, I'm kinda glad that they're toning it down, so when they do it, it is more special. I'm kinda curious about the field they use for Tournament of Death, it looks awesome it gives the vibe that anything goes there are no rules, what we're doing is illegal. I like DJ's work so far, he calls his version of czw the buffet table of wrestling, there's a little bit of different things for everybody.

Yep, I think Mondo goes into it in his shoot interview, but DJ and Masada both say that it took Masada over a year to convince Big Japan to even talk to DJ. Zandig did a lot of good as an owner, but basically from 2006 until he sold the company to DJ it was basically a burden for him to run CZW. Some due to personal stuff (his business failing, one of his kids dying) some him just not being easy to work with (the Matt Burns situation, CHIKARA situation... though that's on Quack as well, the ROH situation, really convincing any credible indy guy to work with Justice Pain). Those who complain about missing Zandig in terms of workers are guys who can't just get whatever they want from DJ while Zandig would cave to them. DJ has his boys/girls but he won't bring anybody into CZW and/or keep them if the locker room doesn't like them (see Shane Hollister/Scarlett Bordeaux... and the Osirian Portal to an extent) Zandig had guys that he would defend to the death even if they were completely in the wrong in an issue.

Then why don't they simply move? Because they have consistent crowds and the shows have been the best they've been in years for the most part. Why change it?
