showcase matches are Sumie Saka and Penelope Ford vs Takumi Iroha and Brittany Blake and Nate Carter & David McCall (Alexander James's Security) vs Chigusa Nagayo and Chigusa Nagayo.
Also doing research, Nagayo is going to the US to do tryouts as she starts Marvelous in Japan. It will mainly be Joshi, but will also feature males as well. The first show features a lot of Deej students

The show will probably be okay, but it sounds like Deej is letting Gulak book the show (Gulak runs Dojo Wars and the number 2 trainer at the Academy) to get younger guys exposure while Deej prepares for the first ppv

I noticed last month's New Heights isn't on the On Demand site. How long does it take before shows go on there? I'm just wondering since I probably won't be able to watch Saturday's show live.
I wish they'd put Dojo Wars on there. That'd be cool to watch.

Heard a rumor that Tremont may challenge Jeez and possibly win the title after his match with Parks. Weird that they don't have any Jeez, Gulaks, Gage, Baikey, Buxx matches announced. This show is so student heavy its unreal.

Sounds like the show was fun, but really just a holding show to get ready for the ppv.

The ladder match at Down With the Sickness will be Bailey/Fox 2. What's on the line? Climb the ladder and grab nothing?

The Gulaks vs Gage/Busick announced for September.
And rumors are that nobody wanted to work with Nate Hatred or Justice Pain so that's why they didn't go nostalgic. Apparently both (especially Pain) big leagued a bunch of the top guys now when they were younger.

I can understand why, Justice Pain was notorious for trying to keep other talent down, even to the point of working unsafe with them. That's how Sick Nick Mondo broke both of his ankles, Pain was supposed to catch him during an over the top rope dive, but Pain walked away mid spot, and let Mondo crash, unprotected, into the floor. This was during their World Title match in Philly, Mondo has discussed the incident online, and in interviews.

He did something to Mondo during a match and Mondo looked at a fan and said "want to see my receipt?" and laid in one stiff kick and Pain stopped messing with him. There's also the story of at the one Cage of Death Pain was stiffing Generico and going off plans to the point Franky the Mobster (whose one big scary dude) got pissed and started chasing Pain.

He also took liberties with Necro Butcher at COD one year, too. Until Necro started shooting on Pain in the corner of the ring, beating the shit outta him, until Zandig had to step in, and break it up.
