So a guy named Inverter who basically wrestled like a larger X-Pac whose catchphrase was "I WILL TURN YOU INSIDEEEEEE OUT" or his nemesis, An Undertaker ripoff in a paintball mask named Darkslide. ...Probably not. I dunno, I'd probably be an Inverter mark just off the catchphrase!

James Ares....maybe. He's generally a heel that wrestles like a hybrid of Bret Hart and Brock Lesnar. I've always imagined his promos like Jake Roberts so I could see him getting a bit popular.
Justin "Hollywood" Rose...probably not. He's a character that's been done quite a few times but he wrestles similar to Bryan and is surprisingly great in hardcore matches.

Did you post something about that before on another forum? Because I vaguely remember someone talking about those CAWs somewhere.

When I was in fifth grade, WWE Smackdown Here Comes the Pain had just come out and at the time we had just finished watching the high school's production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Apparently, this inspired me so much that I made a CAW of Joseph and played through season mode making him win all the titles. He wore a orange bathrobe that was supposed to be his "dream coat." I don't think he would be loved by the IWC haha.

A monster heel that's basically Sheamus mixed with Triple H? I feel like people would mark for a guy in facepaint at first but then turn on him.

My CAW's based on my efed character. Kincaid. He'd probably be loved for his gimmick (Cult leader who believes pro wrestlers are the only one's who grab a hold of their own destiny in a world of the controlled) but not be liked much for his ring work (A lot of old school moves like the trapezius claw and bearhug and the like, his biggest moves being an enzuiguri and a piledriver.)

My first CAW came in "SmackDown 2: Know Your Role" for PS1. He was a monster named "The Devastator." He started as a super face who destroyed people with big, flashy moves and all sorts of weapons. But he was starting to become too dominant for the fanbase and started getting booed occasionally, so he may have been on the verge of a heel turn. I could see The Devastator being similar to John Cena.
Others:
Chris Stevenson - Similar to Brock Lesnar, came in as a dominant heel and quickly rose to the World Championship. His destructive ways eventually led to respect and some cheers from live crowds, so a face turn was coming soon.
Blue Lightning - Started as a Canadian, anti-American heel in red ring attire, doing mostly martial arts offense. Turned face, started wearing blue, gained a personality and started doing flipping and high-flying moves. I think the IWC would mostly love him, but he would have some haters.
Ronald - The king of all jobbers. The smallest, most timid wrestler ever to appear in WWE. He would be scared to death from the second he made his entrance, and he lost most of his matches in less than a minute. He did, however, win a ladder match by fluke to become WWE Champion, although that didn't last very long. The IWC would likely be sharply divided about him.

I think we all book out Mary Sues in our head as being Internet Darlings, honestly. If you're building a company around one guy, you always expect him to be the absolute best, most loved wrestler. Every time I think of my Mary Sue, I imagine he gets the biggest pop of anyone, so yeah, I think of him as being an IWC wunderkind.

Weirdoc Carl was a fat guy who could do high flier moves, with a woman's walk cycle and ring gear that made no sense.
I think he'd have been one of ECW's super-over-but-never-champion guys, like 911. He'd probably have tagged with Blue Meanie but their gimmicks were a little bit similar.

Off the top of my head, no, because they are all goofy. If anything, they would be wrestlecrap material.

Jamie Knight. Trunks with matching kickpads, typically Strong Style offense, very Davey Richards influenced style.

Very likely. My go-to CAW (and e-fed character) is 6'7", 310 lbs. with a personality that's a cross between PCS era Kevin Nash & JBL. His in ring style is a mix between Kenta Kobashi & Kevin Nash. At pay-per-views he has hammy, over-the-top entrances that would put Triple H's & Undertaker's Wrestlemania entrances to shame. You tell me if you'd mark for that. You and I were in the same stable in FIDub. I was a conservative 80s guy. Ps, my man Billy Walker still owes you a knee to the face.

Lise Starr: An Australian 5 foot 2 woman with fairly pale skin and dark brown/black hair. Her wrestling style is high-flying and technical, she uses a Superkick as one of her finishers and is nicknamed "The Heartbreaker" - a tribute to one of her favourite wrestlers Shawn Michaels. I originally based her a little on myself and cruiserweights. Then a bit on Mickie James. Coincidentally she was a lot like AJ Lee and Portia Perez before I really knew about them. Portia's old black and pink attire with the stars looks SO MUCH like her attires. Then AJ's personality: bubbly, hyper and in one RPG she went a bit crazy. Her gimmick varies a bit depending on RPGs and eFeds (as I use different "canons" at times). Also, as a heel she's very sarcastic and mocking of her opponents like CM Punk. So I imagine Lise Starr would be pretty popular in the indies then if she went to the WWE she would be similar to Paige's current role in NXT.
Erika Leight: A second generation wrestler from Chicago who's family are "independent wrestling royalty." Her father and uncle were very popular in the territories and indies during the 80s/90s. Her cousins and brothers are the "next generation" of Leights starting in the mid to late 2000s. She began wrestling and joined them in 2007. Each member has their own traits and Erika is a bit "odd". She often dyes her hair to bright colours like red, blue or to a natural dirty-blonde or jet black. She still is a recently new CAW (as of late 2011) so I'm still adding things to her and making other family members. Anyway, due to her family I think she would be big in the indies along with her other young relatives.

Not really, I usually just make an exaggerated version of me who looks like he'd hang around with Teryo Law and icemg1k (I just dated myself with that reference, didn't I?) I think only you and I would get that reference. Ahhh 2007 Youtube CAW videos. Those were the days...

I have three that might be. 1. Panther Paige Looks like: Jamie Eason, but 6'0" tall. All black attire: sports bra, briefs, biker gloves, elbow, knee, sneakers, socks that stop at the bottom of the knee pad. Personality: think face Brock Lesnar Wrestling style: MMA influenced technical wrestling 2. Heather Fire Looks like: think gender-swapped 2003 Kane, 5'9", normal build, pale, long black hair with red highlights, Personality: think Daffney mixed with Kane Wrestling style: lucha libre, brawling 3. Rachel Blade Looks like: Dana Linn Bailey but 5'9", wears all cobalt blue attire, similar to Panther's but with kick pads and slitted arm sleeves. Personality: high-strung perfectionist sociopath, CM Punk-like Wrestling style: striking and grapples that target the head Jamie Eason? Dana Linn Bailey? Yes, please.
