I remember getting home from junior high and watching GWF. Loved the hell out of that show.

Tugboat Taylor's babyface turn to save his son Chaz! Maniac Mike Davis eliminating himself from a battle royal ... and later interfering in the Chaz Taylor/Steven Dane(?) "bungee match" and coming back with a moon rock! Barry "The Winner" Horowitz, Light Heavyweight champion! The classic Lightning Kid-Jerry Lynn feud! The Dark Patriot spraying ink in the Partiot's eyes, which somehow turns "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert into the company's top face! Man, I miss the GWF. I hope whoever owns the rights to it releases it on DVD at some point. All of these are the reasons I loved GWF. Though, you forgot the announcer that took a bump to the head, and thought he was Elvis. Or did I imagine that?

They do? I don't recall ever seeing any GWF footage used on any WWE released material.

They've used footage (the WWE) but don't think they own it.

I guess that ESPN or someone wanted to censor foreign object use so after a while every time someone went for a weapon attack they'd cut to a dude in the crowd with a beard and flannel shirt giving the thumbs down.

Lightning Kid match from 1991, posted in 2011 Booker T & Stevie Ray match taken from WWE.com in 2011 www.youtube.com/watch?v=o-C_VBkqa14Also, a clip of the August 1992 Bungee Cord match was shown on WWE's "Are You Serious?" YouTube show.
