An unnecessary loss. All anyone had to do was open the freezer door. R.I.P.

Let's face it, he only decided to kick the bucket now so that he didn't have to see the Undertaker have his streak end by the hands of CM Punk.
Seriously though, RIP Paul Bearer. Thanks for being so awesomely creepy.

Odds this is used to get Punk even more cheap heat? Doubtful, but you never know.
RIP

I'm pretty shocked. He was truly one of the best managers ever.

One of my favorite memories is from WMXX when Paul came out with the "Oh Yeah" before Taker's return. I still get goosebumps. R.I.P I love that moment so much, so well done and a great return. Man this sucks, terrible terrible news. Another part of my childhood gone. R.I.P To easily one of the greatest managers of all time. My thoughts go out to family and friends. Is he in the HOF? I can't remember, and if not he should be. Odds this is used to get Punk even more cheap heat? Doubtful, but you never know. RIP As sad as it sounds I wouldn't rule them out doing it, considering what they did with Eddie. I hope they don;t, I really really hope they don't

Well... crap.
That's really awful. He was one of my earliest wrestling memories growing up, and it just doesn't feel right for him to be gone.

Very sad news.
...now I wonder if WWE will make him a late addition to the Hall of Fame though...

Really sad.
He did an album promo for a friend of mine:
I have a Paul Bearer story.
So, in high school I was really into independent film-making and (inspired by Lloyd Kaufman's book) was making feature films and shorts for classes. I had read in Kaufman's book about an easy way to get stars in your film is to aim for non-S.A.G. (Screen Actor's Guild, ie. Non-Union) celebrities so you can have a notable name without having to pay the typical union fees.
So, I went on 1wrestling.com and a few other sites and got the names of as many wrestling personalities' managers/PR people (As in their actual, behind the scenes managers/handlers) and emailed them a one page treatment for a movie I wanted to make, including where I envisioned a cameo for them. Being 17 at the time, nobody really took me seriously or got back to me. Out of about two dozen emails, I only heard back from three people. George "The Animal" Steele's manager got me on the phone and thought I had a lot more money than I did. Mike "Road Warrior Hawk" Hedgstrand actually called me out of the blue without emailing me first and we talked for a good 2 1/2 hours, concluding with him actually agreeing to not only be in my film, but was interested in producing it as well (that's a long story for another time). The final one, was Percy Pringle/Paul Bearer.
Paul took me seriously, wrote me a nice long email about how he'd always wanted to get into acting and how much respect he had for the cinema. He wrote about how much he's always liked going to the movies and everything he found magical about the medium. The email then abruptly ended with "However, I cannot comply." Kinda funny and to the point, but I was always happy he took the time to respond.
Sad to hear of his passing. I will be doing Paul Bearer voices all week long. R.I.P.

GODDAMMIT.....I can't say much else that the censors wont take down. This so saddens and pisses me off.
RIP Paul Bearer, you will be missed.

Figured I'd post Taker's entrance video as some sort of respect showing to him, given how closely he's tied to it...

He was only 58 years old. Same age as my mom is right now, which is what makes me feel worse mentally. At a loss for words. RIP Paul Bearer
