- JYD set the record, with Mr. Perfect, for the shortest time spent in the Rumble while still winning, with 6 polls. He is also tied with Perfect for having the least eliminations in the Rumble they won in, with 2.
- JYD is first and only black wrestler to win a Rumble.

- Savage has the record for most eliminations in a single Rumble, and he also sets the standard for most eliminations set by a winner in a rumble.

Mr. Perfect-#30

- Perfect is the first person to come in at #30 and win the Rumble
1991:
Davey Boy Smith-#14

Time Spent in the Rumble-25 polls
- Davey has set the record for the longest lasting winner in the Rumble, lasting 25 polls. It was broken the following year.
- Davey is also the first non-American to win the Rumble. He is also the only European Rumble winner.
1992:
#3 Ric Flair

Time Spent in the Rumble-35 polls
- Ric broke the previous record of longest time spent in the rumble to win, with 35 polls. His record was broken in 1997. He is the longest lasting Rumble winner.
- Ric is the only person to win the WWF Championship in the Royal Rumble.
1993:
#30 Randy Savage

- Randy broke the record for the shortest time spent in the rumble and still winning....with 5 polls.
- Randy becomes the first wrestler to win the Royal Rumble twice.
- Randy also sets the record for most winners from a single number: two have won from number 30. Counting 1988, where JYD one from #20...three men have won after drawing the last spot in the rumble.
1994:
#18 Shawn Michaels

- This was Shawn's Fourth Rumble appearance. He first held the record for having the most Rumble appearances before winning a Rumble. Bret Hart would break this in 1997.
- Shawn also won the closest match up in Rumble history, beating out his former partner Mart Jannetty by 1 vote. This is tied with Bret Hart and Steve Austin, in 1997.
- Beat Yokozuna for the title at Wrestlemania 10.
1995:
#19 Lex Luger

- Second most eliminations in a rumble by the winner.
- Double DQ'd with Diesel, not winning the title at Wrestlemania XI.
1996:

- He is the second Canadian to win the Rumble. He did not face the champion at WM 13.
1998:
#28 Dude Love

Time Spent in the Rumble-9 polls as Dude Love (18 overall)
- Set the record for most Rumble entries in a single rumble...with 3.
- All four of his eliminations came as Dude Love. He would have 4 polls as Cactus Jack and 5 poll as Mankind.
- He would beat Shawn Michaels for the WWF Title at WM 14 in a 9-8 count.
1999:
#18 Kane
Eliminations: 5
Time Spent in the Rumble-20 polls
- Is the second person to win from the #18 spot (Michaels in 1994).
- Tied the 1994 and 1997 records of the closest decision for a rumble win, beating Owen Hart by 1 (9-8).
- Wrestlemania Result: He would lose to the WWF Champion, The Rock, at Wrestlemania 15.
2000:
#15 Chris Jericho

Time Spent in the Rumble-21 polls
- Won the Rumble in his Royal Rumble debut.
- Is the second person to win from #15. Also eliminated two people in the final poll to win, Kane and The Godfather.
- Wrestlemania Result: He would go on to beat Triple H for the title at WM 2000.
2001:

- Won the Rumble with the least amount of eliminations ever by a Rumble winner....with 1.
- Beat The Rock in the final poll in a count of 8-7, winning by one vote.
- Wrestlemania Result: Beat The Rock at Wrestlemania 17 going 12-4.
2002:
#25 Mr. Perfect
Eliminations: 3
Time Spent in the Rumble-14 polls.
- Mr. Perfect is the second wrestler two win two rumbles, joining Randy Savage.
- Mr. Perfect and Randy Savage are also the only wrestlers to win from #30.
- It took 12 years for Mr. Perfect to win his 2nd Rumble. This is the longest gap between Rumble Victories in history.
- Wrestlemania Result: Mr. Perfect lost to Chris Jericho at Wrestlemania 18, losing 6-5.
2003:
#14 Eddie Guerreo

- Eddie is the first hispanic-born wrestler to win a Royal Rumble.
