Then again, what did you expect : the PPV is a tournament designed to crown the "Queen of TNA". There's a 90% chance it will be Velvet, which means all the other girls will have to carry her/job for her. It's gonna be Brooke Hogan. Some heel will win through chicanery and challenge Brooke, Brooke will promptly win and be the Queen of TNA.

TNA before scheduling this ppv, you probably should have gotten everyone lined up in advance. TNA has done this type of thing many times before.

I get the feeling that the offered payday for this was pretty insulting.

It wouldn't shock me if the tournament format is being used to disguise the fact that they will only have 8 women to work the show. Maybe it'll be a round robin tournament. Just keeps going and going.

I get the feeling that the offered payday for this was pretty insulting. Most of them got gift coupons for a free mechanical shark ride at Hulk Hogan's new "Hooters-Times-Ten" restaurant.

Payton Banks (yeah, remember her) turned them down as well.

Yeah, I have a feeling all the former Knockouts are going to say no in solidarity.
Hamada, Taylor Wilde and Jacqueline are the only three knockouts that can come in now and make it feel like a good nostalgia show (and of course, you keep Hamada in your promotion). Peyton Banks would have been an example of really stretching it, not due to her lack of talent, but simply due to how long she was in Impact for. They should cancel it, but if those three deny, then it's pretty much over.

It's not really supposed to be a nostalgia show, contrary to the "greatest tag team/heavyweight" tournaments, or the 10y reunion PPV. It will probably end up being a simple tournament featuring the current KO roster, the OVW girls, maybe a Leva Bates or a Rosita, or girls from the Gutcheck seminars. Which would be plenty enough to set up eight to ten matches with a tournament format.

Maybe TNA can get Joey Ryan to call up the Rupaul's Drag Race contestants he trained? I know it's wrong, but I'm kind of enjoying watching this debacle unfold.
