Pretty cool main event. Bully tearing the ring apart was a neat idea. Agree the piledriver should have been the end. Kudos to Sting for taking the bumps.
My guess is Sting is just trying to push his merch...I don't see any other reason why he wears the shirt. He's still in pretty good shape.
Nothing stood out as great on the card, but overall is was good all the way through.

I know it was horrifically overbooked, but I enjoyed the main event. It's definitely not the type of match I want to see on a regular basis, but it's way more entertaining than I expected given Sting's age and all. He actually looked quite sharp tonight, probably his best match since the one he had with Aries on Impact.
Probably should give a little credit to Bully Ray for making it happen. Say what you want about rest of the Aces & 8s nonsense, but Bully Ray has still been top notch since joining the group.

The other thing coming out of tonight, TNA has fallen into the area of taking too long for plot twists now. I understand wanting to no rush things but what reason was there to not reveal something about the Brooke mess? With how TNA does things, that won't be solved until BFG, which if they go the obvious route, delays Bully losing the belt until Lockdown or making Brooke the reason he lost the belt, which would quite frankly suck.

That was one of the most cringeworthy main event finishes I've ever seen. It wasn't at bad as the TNA pay-per-view where everyone fell through the hole in the ring, but damn.
I get Sting kicking out of a Piledriver. I'd get Sting kicking out of two Piledrivers. But a Piledriver onto solid wood? With the way Bully Ray built it up, that should've sent Sting out on a stretcher.
And don't get me started with hitting people in the head with a hammer...

The show was...eh. Not bad but pretty dull for the most part. I didn't catch most of the opener but I liked the little bit that I saw. The Knockouts match was better than it had any right to be, MOTN as far as I'm concerned. AJ/Angle...it wasn't bad but I'm just not into Angle matches anymore. It really is the same old shit with him. It also seemed kinda pointless to beat AJ tonight. Still, it had some enjoyable moments. I have mixed feelings on the main event. While I do agree that it was pretty ridiculous how much it took to beat Sting, since this was his last shot at the title, you might as well make it a big moment and put him over as a world beater that just barely lost.
Everything else was just kinda there.

Sorry but it took way to much to keep Sting down. The piledriver on the exposed ring should have ended it, IMO. You're talking about a man that has no-sold a guitar shot & baseball bat shot to the head. The bat cracked him in the face, busted him open hardway, and he barely flinched. I can absolutely believe that it takes more than you'd think to put him away, especially with what was on the line.

Only bad aspect of the show was the Angle/AJ finish (don't know how they give Styles momentum again). They spent months building up Morgan and Styles, only to have them lose to Sting and Angle respectively. Hopefully those pushes resurface soon. I really hope they don't do Bully/Angle at BFG. Let it happen on a random Impact or something. Not BFG.

He's also what, 3 years older now and took what is a banned move by faces and heels (even Taz said he wouldn't use it) on the exposed ring. I think it should have kept him down.

Bully built up the piledriver and Sting kicked out about two minutes in. Strange. On the whole though I'd say it was a solid show. And man, the crowd was huge into Hogan and Sting. Those two plus Aries, Joe and the Macho Man impersonator got the biggest pops of the night.

I'm watching the PPV right now, and I am laughing my ass off at the "surprise" six man tag team match.

This is how much I've forgotten about TNA... I forgot their big show was last night, and I have to check the results.
... STING IS IN THE MAIN EVENT?
Well... at least they remembered the TV Title existed. I'm gonna be really sad to see Joseph Park go in return for some half-assed Mankind ripoff. I loved Joseph Park.
... Gunner is still around?
... Gunner is now A CHAMPION?
Hands up everyone who thinks Sting is gonna get another TNA title shot in the next 6 months.
Overall, I don't miss not watching TNA.

I think you're being a bit harsh the PPV was decent. Not 5 stars but a decent 3 star show. Sting is in the main event but now should be out for at least a year or two (Maybe longer if they stick with the stipulation) I kind of hope he goes into the tag division or something though. Sting with a young guy (Magnus maybe?) fighting Roode/Aries or Gunner/Storm for the World Tag Titles. Gunner is still around and he's about to get a big push I think. I don't see the surprise though he's a decent worker and has a good look what's wrong with making him the tag team champion and trying to get him over with Storm? Don't see Sting getting a title shot in 6 months I think he's out for a long time as I said above I think he'll put over some young guys and ride off into the sunset probably doing what Taker does in WWE and having 1 match a year at Bound For Glory or something. As for not missing TNA. You probably should. Decent promotion with a lot of talented wrestlers.

Are posts like this really necessary? Like, for real? Sorry. I forgot you're not allowed to have opinions on the internet. The opinions are fine, it's the way your post is set up, which is pretty inflammatory in my opinion. It's a complaint piece, all centered around how much you don't miss watching a company. It's like going into a thread about a band's newest album and saying how much you forgot about them, but how much they now suck and you don't miss listening to them.

Are posts like this really necessary? Like, for real? Sorry. I forgot you're not allowed to have opinions on the internet. Pretty much what Orange said, not to mention the fact that reading about a show does not equate to watching the show yourself and in that it also gives you less room to judge how bad something is when you haven't experienced that thing yourself but are instead taking someone else's account of something as your own and using it to form an opinion. It's the difference between reading a book on the Nazi written by Hitler and reading a book on Nazis by Churchill, you're going to get conflicting stories and it's going to be presented to you differently in each case. So unless you experience it yourself you need to work a lot harder to justify the way you judge something rather than taking one account and calling something shit because of it.

Just was on TMZ, and they posted something about how Taryn got bruises from her match or something. I heard the match was good, and they linked to a fan cam of the match so I started watching it. There's this fan that starts shouting "THIS IS WRESTLING!" and then "LETS GO KIM! LETS GO KIM!". Then shouts "DREW MCINTYRE!" at Taryn as she goes for a dive on the ramp and then after he yells "WHAAAAT A BOTCH!"
Some wrestling fans just ruin it for everybody
