so who gets the u.s title now? Booker T and Benoit still have unfinished business with that belt. Unless the E plans on saying that shows Benoit evened up and won the series at house shows.

I was thinking that Booker can say he's injured so he hires another wrestler to fight for him to try and beat Benoit. The heel midcarders who are currently healthy (and who currently aren't doing anything) are:
Orlando Jordan Paul Burchill William Regal Sylvan
Jordan's got some history with Benoit, even though he got owned each time, but I think he'd be the best replacement. Then it'd be evened up, and it would be Benoit vs. Booker and Jordan in a handicap match (with Booker not doing much at all, but cheating once in a while), then Benoit picks up the win or something.

What's the deal with the X sign? Is it the universal sign for someone being actually hurt or something? ya when they throw it up over their head it means a serious injury to the wrestler. When they do it to the crotch, then they're just being dicks and mocking the poor guy.

BTW, the curse of Smackdown continues. Yes it does, and it sucks big time for the Smackdown crew. What next Rey gets injured?

I hear Booker will be out for around a month to 6 weeks, looks like the series will be on hold for a while.

I think it'd be kick ass if some how Booker appointed Lashley to take his spot

I wish this hadn't happened as I really like Booker & this Benoit feud is pretty good. I seriously hope he's ok & also that when he gets back, if it's bad, then he can go after the WHC just the once it's about time the Book was put back in the Main Event.

Who is Benoit to doubt El Dandy? Booker's got a groin pull the likes of which you wouldn't believe.

Much like with Kurt Angle, I admit that Book is one hell of an athlete that has put himself and his body through hell for the fans over the years. It would be sad to see him have to retire or at least take time off due to some serious injury.
This series with Benoit was really bringing out some good stuff in the both of them. That bump Benoit took on the table made me cringe sitting on my couch..I could only imagine what it must have been like to see that in person.
However, much like with Angle, I think the current storyline developement with Book sucks. I mean really, he nearly beat Trips for the title at Wrestlemania once, he's gone through too much in the business to just play him off as some lame mid card heel that only draws heat because of his wife.
