Milhouse comes across as abit of a user. What? Milhouse always comes off as Bart's faithfully unapppreciated sidekick. Plus, there were a few episodes where Milhouse got back at Bart, like "Bart Sells His Soul" and "Moe Goes from Rags to Riches". Although, the second one really sucked, especially when in trying to make peace, Bart says "Is there anything I can do for you, besides changing in any way?" Typical Al Jean-preferred writing.

I don't watch much Big Bang Theory so maybe I'm missing something, but I don't see why anyone would willingly be around Sheldon Cooper. Yeah. I'm a fan of Big Bang Theory, and I still often wonder why the other characters don't just tell Sheldon to screw.

Arnold Judas Rimmer.
Brilliant a character as he is, he's not much of a friend, and he'd probably admit that himself.

There was an episode of Bones where Angela was willing to ditch Bones as a friend because she didn't want to give her money to save some stupid pig, even the shrink told Angela she was being irrational but in the end she still managed to extort the money.
It doesn't sound as bad written down but if anybody actually acted like that in real life you wouldn't be friends with them.

Anybody that Sting(the wrestler) has ever considered a friend.
There probably isn't a bare spot left on his back to stick another dagger.

Gus Griswald - He betrayed his group of friends at every turn, messed up their schemes, never contributed to the group and just dragged them down. He was such a power hungry little douche who, whenever he got a bit of power immediately let it go to his head and corrupt him. Like when he became Gusler Kid and when King Bob left him in control of the playground.

Don't forget when he went all Third Reich on the germs and tried to kill Mikey.

Don't forget when he went all Third Reich on the germs and tried to kill Mikey. Obviously, they had episodes they did before Gus was around, so I always looked at him as a shoehorned character. Hell, in fantasies, he actually had his dad call the military to attack Mikey, although Mikey was about 70 feet tall.

Peggy Hill is a horrible everything Does she even have friends? Well, she considered Nancy to be a friend, but now that I think about it, Nancy is not a good friend to anybody.

That 70s Show - Hyde : Had no problem letting Kelso, Fez and Eric get in trouble if he could get a laugh out of it. Have to disagree here. Yeah, he was a bit of a troublemaker and enjoyed stirring the pot, but when push came to shove, he cared about his buddies Yeah, he was willing to take the fall if someone really was going to get in serious trouble. Hell, he was not even particularly fond of Jackie at the time that he took the rap for her drug possession and got arrested in her place.

It doesn't sound as bad written down but if anybody actually acted like that in real life you wouldn't be friends with them. Wait a second.. are you actually going to base their entire friendship on a single episode from multiple seasons ago? Secondly, you're definitely adding implications in the way you wrote that. "Extorted" is a little harsh, I think. It also should be mentioned that Sweets talked to both Ang and Bones. The conversation with Ang being that she needs to lighten up and respect the choices of others. The conversation with Bones being that sometimes you just need to support your friends even if things don't seem perfectly logical to you. The giving of money was a testament from Bones showing that she thought saving one pig was silly, but she supported Angela. I don't ever recall Angela suggesting that she was going to completely ditch Bones. Likewise, let's have some counter examples here. {Spoiler} Angela was actually found in contempt of court and LOCKED UP because she refused to testify in the hearing against Bone's father, Max. She felt that even though they all knew Max was guilty, she wasn't going to be a part of a team who sent her best friend's father to jail.
Bone's dropped everything and convinced Booth to weasel jurisdiction from the police when Angela's "one week a year" boyfriend went missing. Bones didn't just work the case from the lab, she flew directly to Angela to be with her.
Both of them go to each other for advice, even though they have conflicting ideas most of the time.
Angela stays in the lab mostly for Bones and shows complete loyalty to her--even telling Cam at one point that if Bones left, she would follow her.

I disagree with a lot of examples here on the basis of my belief that you are not true friends with somebody until you have earned the right to be an asshole to them without either party getting worked up about it for a time period of over twenty two minutes(or one sitcom episode).

Yet in the very same episode he had no problem letting Jackie take him to the mall and buy him stuff even though he didn't like her.

What about Crabman from My Name is Earl? Really nice guy but it doesn't change the fact that he stole his friends wife and house. If Earl hadn't had that epithany who knows what dark road his depression would have taken him down?

"Community" - Abed Childish sociopath who contributes nothing and takes everything from the group. I'm unclear as to why anybody halfway through the 3rd season still gave him the time of day. Dude, he has Asperger's. Plus, he genuinely cares about everyone in the group. If anything, Pierce is the sociopathic shitbag of a friend.

I really don't see how you could put people like Archer or Eric Cartman on this list.
Most of the people they're around with hate them and only help them at times because it's the right thing to do.
Hell, Lana has abandoned Archer in the Everglades surrounded by Aligators (which he's terrified of) and Kyle willing tried to get Cartman to go to Somalia, so that he would be killed.
