When the opening bass line for the theme kicked in, I couldn't help but smile. There's no way I won't get this. Damn right. I just hope they don't drop the ball on this remake as hard as Turtles In Time Reshelled did... though just from the way the trailer looks alone they're already off to a better start. It's Wayforward (The same guys behind Adventure Time on the 3DS/DS, Batman: The Brave and The Bold on the Wii and the Shante games on the Game Boy Color, DSi and 3DS amongst other games.) doing the port so I have little doubt they'll pull off a quality game.

Any chance the original NES version be a hidden bonuses in the game too or not?

Who remembers WWE Betrayal? They should do just fine with this game. Any chance the original NES version be a hidden bonuses in the game too or not? If they include both that and the second game, I'll be all over it like clay on Gumby.

I'm totally serious when I say Ducktales is behind only GTA V as the game I'm most looking forward to this year.

When I heard the news of this game at first I thought they were just "HD"ing the original, then remembered the original was a NES title so I get the trailer a watch and holy shit this looks amazing.

They even got Alan Young to do Scrooge. He's 93! I never owned Ducktales but I must've rented it about 15 times. This is a must buy. Really? I thought he died. i believe the guy who voiced GizmoDuck died. i'm not sure about any of the other voice actor's on the show.

Hamilton Camp (Gizmoduck), Joan Gerber (Mrs. Beakley), and Hal Smith (Gyro Gearloose/Flintheart Glomgold) are the only major VA's to have passed away. The surviving voice actors who could do work for the game include Alan Young (Scrooge) Russi Taylor (The nephews and Webby) Terrence McGovern (Launchpad) Frank Welker (several voices) June Foray (Magica DeSpell, maybe Ma Beagle if added to the game) Chuck McCann (Duckworth/Burger and Bouncer Beagle)

When did Capcom decide to throw us a bone and stop trying to be dicks? Ducktales was my favorite NES game of all time. Yes, favorite. It makes me laugh when people act like it's a joke they're doing this and to play "real" games. It's the 11th best selling NES game of all time in the US. It sold over a million copies. It's going to sell.

Alright, I'm gonna settle this one and for all:
GizmoDuck vs. Iron Man.
Who would win?
Personally, I think GizmoDuck would.

If it sells well we could see remakes of the other Capcom/Disney games
And some more info
The default difficulty level will be lower -The game is going to be more accessible to today's gamers -Maps will be available to help guide players -The infamous Transylvania level, which had to be played three times, has been reworked to require only one play through. -An entirely new level will be included, and serves as the final stage -Almost all of these features can be disabled in the options menu or difficulty setting for those who want to experience a more faithful recreation of the game

The words in that video made me realize that for over 20 years, I've had much of the Ducktales theme song's lyrics all wrong.

I'd be down to buying games via download like this. Go to the NES vaults and give me something like Faxanadu or an updated Maniac Mansion!
