Russo is more than a hero... HE IS GOD!!!!! Other than the obvious, I'd wanna see Tim White's reanimated corpse as GM. That's not the obvious?

Warrior for GM! And then... the gimmick being that nobody on the roster ever knows what he's talking about, or what matches they're in.

The Hardcore Gm....Tommy Dreamer. Actually, I'd love to see this. He's ok on the stick and it pretty well known he had a lot of power in ECW so he would be pretty good.

CHRIS JERICHO! You know you would mark out if he came back in that KIND of non wrestling role. Let Jericho be the GM of Raw!

You know, I actually gave it a thought. For some reason, I think that there's a good chance they WILL name J.R. the new GM. If, of course, he's up to it.
My reason is simple... he's a fairly important name that they HAVEN'T BROUGHT UP YET. You know how WWE loves to handle their swerves and big reveals... they like to make sure that none of the marks have even BEGUN to consider the name they had in mind. I've heard names like Shane, Stephanie and Dusty so often from every angle in WWE for weeks... and that's exactly why none of them will be it. What kind of shock will it be if they name Shane GM after saying from the beginning that he's a lead candidate for the position?
It's all about the shock. And Jim Ross would be the ultimate shock based on the hell they put him through this year. Of course, they'd have to take a leak on months' worth of storylines... but that's nothing new to them.

Your reasoning makes sense. And, it would certainly get the fans excited. If they had JR as GM, I'd book him as a face and then bring back Bischoff as a heel manager, trying to destroy him. Could make for a fun story.

i actually hope for vince russo...he says in that ultimate insiders dvd that he still loves vince mcmahon, and speaks very highly of him on the dvd...i think that he is an excellent on air personality. and it would be shocking to people..i mean one WCW runner is out..so why not bring another one in, and it would cause alot of people talking.
and then for the kinda cool choice but would never happen...doink the clown as GM, but get borne to play him..and have him heel doink GM...just imagine how bad ass that truely would be.

Destrucity In A Cell, where the first one to ascend to a higher plane of existence wins the belt. Greatest. Gimmick Match. Ever. i do believe the ne GM will be someone they haven't mentioned yet. There's been too much build up for it to be someone obvious or shown on TV (ie, Dusty, Shane, Steph) i think JR would be a good idea, and can "get revenge" on Triple H for treating him like crap early on in the year, and put him in some impossible matches (like HHH vs. Big Show/Kane/Snitsky, 3-on-1 electrified barbed wire handicapped Ladder match) if its one of the McMahons, i will be disappointed, even if it is Shane... my ideal GM would be Taka Michinoku, so they could do some more of that dubbing whenever he talks... that stuff was classic...

Edge. So he can work without injuring himself, can extend his Money In the Bank contract and can use his power to get plenty of women turning tricks for him.
He could also do something stupid like trade Kane for Matt Hardy, just so he can make Hardy's life a misery again.
