Meh, only interested if he performs as Dr Jinx. So he'll play some New Kids On The Block on bass and spray someone with pesticide? That would be worth it.

I kind of want him to perform Cult Of Personality for s***s and giggles.
And it would give CM Punk some heat.
Hell Living Colour are doing a gig in NY the night before.
Have them set up and ready to play then CM Punk comes out and tells them to leave the stage and out comes Puff Daddy

I didn't need another reason to not purchase the show, but there they go, giving me yet another one.

As much as I would love it if he played "Come With Me", he'll probably give us "Coming Home" *sigh*

Unless it's Dave Chappelle doing a P. Diddy impression...

I dont mind him performing then, it's not a great song, but it suits this years mania perfectly. and If he performs it they better have a video montage of lots of New York location shots behind him like in the advert I reckon they must be using this song because Empire State Of Mind by Jay-Z would cost too much to license.

I'm surprised it took them this long to announce someone. Usually, the musical guest is announced before at least half the match card.

Diddy's one of the last people I'd call a gangsta rapper. Okay, so that may be a bit strong given that he's more of a producer, but he has rapped (not particularly well) on records by other gangsta rappers, and that's close enough. He's also been the only rapper on records released on Bad Boy, which is, lest we forget, a rap label of a fashion. My point was, he swears on his songs a lot, and tends to mostly talk about f***ing on them too. So he might not be particularly conducive to a PG audience.

Does the musical guest really persuade anyone to buy the show? It seems pointless.
I mean, no matter who they bung off the card... they will have fans. Usually they pick someone good and over to bung off the card too (Miz and Morrison, Sheamus and Bryan etc) who, being on the card, could be the deciding factor in people buying it.
But having P Diddy perform... is that really gonna swing it for anyone? Like does anyone in the world actually think "eh, I wasn't gonna bother splashing out £15 for 'Mania but what the hay, P Diddy is performing".
Edit: And if it's something to "reward" the live crowd. Why not have the musical star as the pre-show to get people ready rather than an actual match?

Is he still relevant?
I don't think I've heard anything he's done since "All About the Benjamins" back in the late 90's.
I'm guessing this is a case of Vince McMahon being behind the times. Maybe he just saw the video for "Mo Money, Mo Problems" or something?

Thank god, I was worried we weren't going to get our annual "Blame musician for destroying midcard" argument this year.
