I sometimes ask myself why I still go on there. It's like an addiction that I want to kick but it's impossible. It was like that when MySpace was the thing.

The day someone mentions restricting guns. Out come the Hitler pictures.

Same thing with me, any "big" news or holidays I try to avoid going on to my feed. Funny thing is I have alot of diverse friends so one post will be the anti-gun control ramblings and the next one will be in support of them. Same with same-sex marriage, Afghanistan, President Obama and on and on. Oh, and elections...GAH!

When any huge political or social news hits.......no matter what side you fall on I always feel uncomfortable seeing peoples opinions on things like that.

Living in Wales, whenever there is a big rugby match happening.
I was born here, I grew up here, yet the sheer volume of national pride utterly baffles me.

When it's snowing. Because unless I went on Facebook i'd have no idea it was Snowing. YES. For the life of me, I will never understand why people act like 3rd graders when they see snow. Maybe if you live in Arizona or something, but if you live in Philadelphia, seeing snow between November and March is not a shocking occurrence. Let it go. Well, I live in the desert and this tradition exists. Except, you can replace it with rain.

Whenever someone has a messy breakup.
Its annoying as hell when people feel the need to get others on their side by publicly airing out their ex's dirty laundry.

Mondays and Tuesdays are pretty bad. Most people get all depressed due to the beginning of the work week, so they post cryptic messages just to get people to ask them, "What's wrong?" You don't want to be the one to tell them, "Suck it up, you're an adult now. Responsibility is a cruel mistress."
And yeah, the death of celebrities are not good either, especially actors/actresses & singers. Flooding my wall with YouTube clips.

Pretty much whenever a celeberity dies. Bonus points if it's an obscure/troubled one. Suddenly *everyone* is a fan on the deceased. I think the biggest examples of this were Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston. Both were punchlines, but when they died, they were back to being heralded as unappreciated musical geniuses

If I've not seen RAW or a PPV I have to avoid Facebook until I have seen it as there is bound to be someone posting any spoilers

I think the biggest examples of this were Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston. Both were punchlines, but when they died, they were back to being heralded as unappreciated musical geniuses I was guilty of posting a Whitney Houston song when she died, but the difference with me was that I already knew that she was a great singer before her death and found that it was sad that she died, but I only posted one song of hers and that was it.

Here in Chicago, it snowed on and off this winter. There were about 10 occurrences of everyone going "OMG! SNOW!" before it stopped snowing a few hours later. Then it happened again the next week.

Definitely election season.
I don't mind people posting political stuff or showing their support for one side... just that there's so much ignorant crap being posted and reposted that it gets unbearable (both sides are equally guilty of this)
