Good show so far. Steen is that dude. He gets it in a way that a lot of people don't. Also, Scarlett Bordeaux is gorgeous.

results from "Summer Heat Tour: Cincinnati" (via random people on Twitter): {Spoiler}{Spoiler}1. reDRagon (Kyle O'Reilly & Bobby Fish) (c) beat Rocky Romero & Tommaso Ciampa to retain the ROH World Tag Team Championship
2. Jay Lethal (c) beat The Romantic Touch to retain the ROH World Television Championship
3. The Decade (Jimmy Jacobs & BJ Whitmer) & Adam Page beat Cedric Alexander, ACH & Caprice Coleman
4. Silas Young beat Kevin Steen in a No Disqualification match
5. RD Evans beat Ethan Page, Matt Taven and Moose in a Four Corner Survival match
- Apparently some fan was kicked out after grabbing a valet's (guessing Veda Scott) ass.
6. Briscoe Brothers (Jay & Mark Briscoe) vs. War Machine (Hanson & Rowe) ended in a no contest when Adam Cole and Jay Lethal ran in
7. Christopher Daniels & Frankie Kazarian beat Adam Cole & Jay Lethal
- Apparently the fan that got thrown out earlier snuck back in, got spotted by a ref, and was kicked out a second time
8. Michael Elgin (c) beat Roderick Strong to retain the ROH World Championship

I'M INNOCENT, I SWEAR! Seriously though, it seemed like there was a significant increase of douchebags at this show compared to the last ROH show I went to here. I had to SMH when I spotted some creeps taking close-up pics of Maria's ass. Straight stalker-type shit.

I have to say that, attending my first ROH Live show, I had a great time. I think the place they're at right now in terms of rising popularity provides a great mix of Smart fans, Casual fans, ROHbots, etc at the show. I was extremely impressed by a few of the moves that Adam Page pulled off in the 6-man.
Steen's reactions live - WOW.
It looked like Alexander tweaked his knee or leg in the 6-man.
While I'm not a huge fan of Elgin, I thought he and Strong put on a damn good match. That said, I'm not entirely sure that the fanbase is buying into him as champion all the way.

I wasn't a fan of the main event. It was like a parody of an ROH World title match where you can guess every single spot they are going do and when they are gonna do it. Not a bad match by any means but both guys have had better nights.

Probably a benefit to having bits an pieces of exposure to ROH over the years but not getting heavily into it until recently.

The report I read on PWPonderings made me laugh a little bit - the fan got there early, where they had the photo ops with Elgin, Steen and Maria. He paid for pics... with Steen and Maria. HE NO SOLD THE CHAMP. Poor Elgin.

HE NO SOLD THE CHAMP. Poor Elgin. We got there probably an hour early after we parked. We got in the building and went straight for the merch line, as suggested by other posters here, where I bought the Tyler Black comp "Rise from the Fall". I decided to go through and do the meet and greets after that, stood in line for Steen for about 10-15ish minutes and got my picture and whatnot. When we moved over, Elgin was sitting there and just looked sad. There was literally NO ONE in line for him. You know the hopeful-but-defeated look that dogs in shelters have when people are walking through, looking for one to adopt, but they get passed up... Elgin kinda looked like that.

I want Roderick to start wearing a tuxedo all the time, a distinctive one, maybe red, and he wears it every appearance, to the degree that it is part of his image that is difficult to imagine him without.
Then, he can come out to cut a promo, many shows later, in a completely different Tuxedo, and while he flounders, the commentators can declare that this isn't his Strong suit.
Yes, I was just building to this stupid joke.

Yeah, I felt bad for Elgin, haha. When I walked in, there wasn't a whole lot of people begging for his autograph. To be fair, he was competing with Kevin Steen on his second-to-last ROH show and Maria who, of course, got a ton of thirsty fans flocking to her.

Embarrassing. I know, it's just one guy but that's such a bad look for my city. Learn how to act in public, jeez.
