I'll go low B.
Positives:
*Punk/Undertaker was miles better than I thought it would be (mainly due to the previous negative chemistry between them). Heyman stopping the Taker suicide dive was masterful heel heat. *Rock/Cena II was ultimately a better match than Rock/Cena I (just without a justified ending) *Ryback/Henry was entertaining *The Shield won. *Fandango/Jericho was decent. *Lesnar/Triple H was a good match just with a predictable and flat ending. *No match was a bad Wrestling match.
Negatives
*No Ziggler Cash-In on a match that NEEDED Wrestlemania "moments" *No compelling pre-opening-Wrestlemania-Hype-Vidoes to lead into America The Beautiful. Seriously WWE if it isn't broken don't try to fix it. *Too many adverts for WWE-ventures *No backstage skits/cameos/comedy/returns. *No "fun multi-manhardcore mess" match like TLC/Money In The Bank

You can't wow me with video packages and grand sets and hype and wrestling returns for guys who haven't wrestled for nearly a decade. There's nothing left. Time to do something new. Time to grow a set, Vince. Either grow a set, or give up, because if you don't, you're never going to get the fans back.

D. Punk-Taker was the only thing that felt like Mania, the only thing that I feel gave me my moneys worth.
The 8 man getting bumped bummed me out, I didnt care at all about the main event by the time it started and it seemed like no one there did either. No surprises at all. The opener was fun, but pretty much every match came straight from an episode of Raw.

D. That main event just brought the whole show down for me. It felt weird to watch and it was such a sudden finish.

I enjoyed it. The fact no match was bad is all I ever ask for or want in a wrestling show

I'm sure we'll see at least two of those matches tomorrow.

I went with a B, as I enjoyed every match on the card with the exception of HHH/Brock.

Average.
It had good matches, but really didn't have the feeling that should invoke a Wrestlemania PPV

I missed the first half of Mania, so this is only based on the second half. I'm still giving it a D, considering the only match of the 3 I saw that was actually alright was Punk/Taker, and even that was a retread of sorts from the past 4 Taker matches at Mania. Brock/HHH picked up near the end, but dragged on for a bit too long. And like I said in the Mania thread, Rock/Cena turned into an ROH match from all the false finishes they were doing.
Also, it's really not a good sign when I asked if there was anything at all worth watching in the first 2 hours, and the response I got was that there wasn't. I'll probably watch it anyways, but that tells me something about the event, and that something isn't good.

The Tag match was raw quality, so was the Ryback/Henry match, so was the Fandango/Jericho one, I enjoyed The Shields match but that was pretty much a TV match, Del Rio/Swagger was about a TV main event match. Rock/Cena was boring and the Triple H match was pretty dull too. So yea I'd say it was about a 4 hour Raw except without any entertaining backstage things. Heck it even had tons of commercials. One thing I LOVE paying for is K Mart and Rock movie commercials.

One match worthy of a second viewing. Punk vs Taker.

Swagger had a jobber entrance. How the heck does that happen on Wrestlemania?

I "only" had to pay £17.95 so I see your point. So for my money at least it was good.

I gave it a D because it was worse than average. It had a lacklustre build and a card full of part-timers and rematches, so I was expecting it to be bad. The actual show dragged in some parts and felt really rushed in others. They had 5 hours to put on the show and still had to cancel the tag match. We really don't need to see Rock/Cena promo videos 100 times, we've already bought the damn show. At the risk of sounding like a pretentious critic:
Shield vs Orton/Show/Sheamus was good and had me hopeful for what was coming. It made the Shield look strong and it was entertaining. It also advanced the storyline between Show, Sheamus and Orton, so I was pretty happy with it. I'd give it a 7.5/10.
Ryback vs Henry was pretty boring. A match full of bear-hugs and what appeared to be possible injuries for both of them. It was slow and the finish was a bit odd. The shellshock afterwards was great though. This one gets a Bret Hart 4/10 from me.
Fandango vs Jericho sort of reinforced what the crowd has been chanting for the last few weeks: Fandango can't wrestle. He really can, but they're not showing it. He went for the leg drop at least 3 times I think and was on the defensive most of the match. The ending was really odd. I wasn't sure if Jericho was injured, it was a botch, or just a miscommunication. I was expecting more, so it only gets 5/10.
Team Hell No vs Ziggler and Big E was pretty entertaining. I never watched NXT, so I was quite impressed with Langston. The result was surprising as I was expecting the title to change hands, but it's good to see Bryan win at Wrestlemania. 7/10
Del Rio vs Swagger was a bit slow for my taste. Swagger gets the jobber entrance for some reason, which doesn't help because I just can't get into Swagger at all. Ziggler cashing in would have been a great Wrestlemania moment. I have no idea what they're doing with Ziggler at the moment. 6/10
Undertaker vs Punk was the match of the night for me. The table spot had me cringing and Heyman yelling from the sidelines was fantastic. I personally wanted both Undertaker and Triple H to retire last year, hence the whole 'end of an era' thing, but Undertaker is still one of the best out there. It gets a solid 8.5/10.
Triple H vs Lesnar...I didn't like much. I already can't stand Triple H and was hoping Lesnar was going to eek out a win just so I wouldn't see him in the ring anymore. I liked the physicality of it, but it seemed to drag on forever. It should have ended earlier and the crowd being lifeless ruined any electricity that would have been there. I think most of us were exhausted from the Punk/Taker match, so this suffered. 7/10
Rock vs Cena was almost the same as last year. Many of the same spots, and the repeat finishing moves sort of killed any impact they would have had. Cena kicked out of the Rock Bottom and the crowd reacted as if he was only kicking out of a DDT. I think everyone knew Cena was going to walk out champion, so it hurt any suspense that would have been there. Their encounter last year was better, mainly because it was fresh. For the same two people to have the same match a year later, something big has to happen to top the year before. That didn't really happen, so it gets a 7/10 as well.
