I just have no clue where they can go from here. The pop was so loud that you know it was just about everyone in that arena. But who knows what reaction he'll get when they get to some backwoods town for a RAW. That's the point I'm going to make. As my username says i keep it real 365. Now when adr won the whc in miami he got a POP he was getting over very nicely in his big show feud. Don't no one come with the high hispanic population b.s. Either because del rio got a fantastic reaction at the elimination chamber in NEW ORLEANS and that is NOT a highly hispanic populated area. Now look back at the times del rio and ziggler have faced each other. Besides a small vocal group chanting let's go ziggler the crowd was hot for adr. Compare their reactions from R.R and E.C people act like del rio gets NO reaction and Ziggler gets standing ovations LMAO that is not the case. It is no secret that ziggler is popular in the new York and Chicago areas. Same goes for adr in highly hispanic areas. It's funny because the same people that say adr gets no reaction 2 sentences later are saying stop with the si chants. Oh but wait if adr gets NO reaction then how does he get si chants hmmm yea exactly. Before the past 2 days can anyone HONESTLY say when the last time ziggler got a pop? So stop trying to make it seem like he should be a face because of last night. If the adr/ziggler roles were reversed and the show was in Miami adr would have gotten the same pop ziggler did. So let's chill out with that. Still can't wait for this feud though.

It was nice to see how emotional they got, as they were legit so happy that Dolph got the title.
...Nevermind that crap though, they're heels! BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I just don't get why the didn't do it yesterday instead. Indeed. It's not like Wrestlemania was compelling enough to make you tune in for this RAW.

There are very few wrestling moments that made me totally lose it
- Punk at MITB 2011 - Survivor Series 2011 - Ryder at TLC 2011/Raw next night - Ziggler last night
Billy Gunn's baby boy has finally done it!
I don't remember many better Raws since early 00's.

They didn't criticize Ziggler for being a dastardly coward for attacking the brave Alberto Del Rio after a grueling match and then exploiting an injury. Instead we got comments about what a smart counter of the cross arm breaker that he used, how Ziggler proved the nea-sayers wrong, and how whether you like him or not he didn't do anything that other money in the bank winners have done. They really didn't treat him like a heel for the cash in at all. Compare that to Ryback attacking Cena which was over with the crowd but still sold by the announcers as a heel turn. Wouldn't doubt it if they jumped into a Swagger/Ziggler feud while Del Rio is "hurt"

Did anyone watch WWE Active right after he cashed in? You could hear people backstage clapping for Ziggler as he made his way backstage.

We don't know how over Ziggler will be in those towns because the wwe never has presented Dolph as a main event talent, more as a of a joke. Maybe after this win he will start getting huge pops since now fans see the WWE is behind ziggler. Plus more people probably want to get behind Ziggler because they seen how hard he has worked and never got the chance. He got jobbed out, embarrassed, put on long losing streaks and he still went out there and gave it out 100% in the ring. He is nice to his girlfriend AJ and he seems like a cool dude. On the other hand, why should the crowd care and want to root for Del Rio. I mean he was given so many chances at the main event scene and was shown as a legit threat. So it's not like when Del Rio won the world title, it was his big crowning moment of all his hard work. So I should root for Del Rio because he is a proud mexican, that's nice and all but I don't really relate. Other than that I don't see why I should want to get behind Del Rio over someone who had to crawl themselves and went from the bottom of totem pole, to finally reaching his boyhood dream.

When discussing Del Rio's face turn, I always look back to the beginning stages when he just turned face and he was getting good reactions from the crowd. This was before the whole "Proud Mexican" thing. He was a guy who saved his servant from a beatdown because he was the only one who was allowed to bully said servant. Once he came to terms with his face turn and embraced it, he apologized to the guy whom he treated like dirt after all these years and finally acknowledged him as a good friend and brother. His crowd reactions got a lot better when he feuded with the Big Show, when he was the guy who stood up to the big giant bully to avenge his bullied friend. He was the archetypal hero and he had a good thing going for him that was general enough for any fan to relate to/cheer for. (Plus the fact that his in-ring work became more refreshing and easier to stomach than his heel moveset.) I know this is thread is about Ziggler but I just had to address that point. And the point is that there was a point that ADR was relateable for the general audience. But then the WWE ruined it. And it's come back to this whole "Nobody cares about ADR" thing. Speaking of WWE ruining things and going back to Dawlf... What's the over/under that the WWE is going to ruin Ziggler and people are gonna turn on him, just like all the other guys people rooted for and ended up turning on once their weaknesses were (over)exposed?

I was so excited for this last night. I was legitimately standing up and cheering to myself when he was trying to cash in.
I'm a huge fan of Dolph, but a lot of that may have just been from the MITB. I also freaked out when Punk and Miz cashed in.
But screw it! I'm excited. Nobody deserves it more.

What's the over/under that the WWE is going to ruin Ziggler and people are gonna turn on him, just like all the other guys people rooted for and ended up turning on once their weaknesses were (over)exposed? I just personally thought they put the belt on him to quick but I thought the WWE did a great job with the show feud building Del rio as a face. I mean I think the crowd really wanted Del Rio to kick Show's ass for all he did to Ricardo. So while the timing of the title switch was bad, they made it up with the feud. Then the swagger feud really hurt Del Rio's momentum. He just became a mexican guy and made bad jokes etc. So after that, Dek Rio really needed to feud with someone who can get heat on the feud and build del rio more as this great hero. So that why I think this is a bad match-up for del rio since fans want to cheer for Ziggler/Team Rocket and Del Rio needs a bit more support from the crowd. Well see how they will build it but I am not confident that WWE can get the crowd to get behind del rio and boo Ziggy For the last point, when ever he starts winning every match with a patten 5 moves of doom

I don't know, they could end up turning him face. I like him but he's in that Shawn Michaels 1995 phase, nobody really wants to boo a guy who's gimmick is that he has the best matches on the card.

I want to know if Zeb Coulter would approve of Ziggler doing what he did to get the title off Del Rio. I mean, he did put the WHC back in the hands of an American after all, so he should be happy with Ziggler.

Could go the "her family came to the country and took our jobs then changed their names to disguise themselves as Americans. You let Americans do all the work and capitalize just like Dolph Ziggler used the hard work of Jack Swagger to benefit while Jack Swagger got nothing."

What a moment. I was watching with some friends in the lobby of my college and just marked when Ziggle's music hit. Friends around me kept saying that del Rio would still win, especially when he hit the arm breaker, but man, when he hit the Zig Zag...
I cannot do justice to the moment. Ziggle's roar, Big E's ear to ear grin and the tears in AJ's eyes. You cannot fake that. As Ziggler himself said, it's about damn time.
Now, about Kofi...
