Up to number 59. 20 places in roughly 3 days...manageable? The Sun posting about it definitely helps (even if I do loathe that paper).

This does nothing to help you guys in your noble quest, but I just bought the song myself here in the states.

Yeah I felt dirty even clicking on the link to their site. at least I have adblock turned on though so no ad revenue for them. It has to rise those 20 places then stay there which will be the difficulty.

livehits.co.uk/top300.phpIt's number 52 on there, I think that keeps track of sales all over the internet, not sure how good their data collection is though.

It's pretty accurate when compared with the iTunes store application. Think we could break 40 by the end of the day? EDIT: It seems to be done every hour, and we're up to 46!

46 now on that website! But yeah, gonna buy it, first thing I've bought from iTunes in ages that wasn't a free app! I've posted about the attempt on a couple of wrestling related websites, hope I can draw some attention!

I actually follow the charts, as sad as that is. The chart isn't from Monday to Sunday, it's actually from Sunday morning to Saturday night, so ChaChaLaLa has already missed out on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday sales that other songs in the top 40 have had. I think that ChaChaLaLa would have to reach #30 and stay there until Saturday night to be Top 40 to compensate for other songs that have been consistently in the Top 40. I hate all those campaigns to get a song to no.1 as they're generally just to spite Simon Cowell who I don't care about and the sheer anger some people have about 'real' music puts me off. This just has a spirit of fun so I'm getting on the bandwagon.

Can we stop hinting at Gardland's song as it relates to Thatcher's death?
It's extremely tasteless. If you have grievances against the women then fine, but please do it on the appropriate forum. Here isn't that forum.

The song is not far from hitting the Amazon top 100.
