Mike Quackenbush is as controversial as WWE pretends Cena is.

So as someone who was pissed at the angle listening to that interview kinda felt like he was looking down on me because I'm not "smart enough" to like his ice cream Since you already don't like the angle, I'm not sure why I would even waste my time, but no. That's not what he said. He said he understands that people don't like it, but he's not changing his vision of what he wants his wrestling promotion to be, whether it's because people didn't like that they went quiet, or whether people think it was bad business. He's saying it's fine if you didn't like it, and you're welcome to leave. Which is insulting to a fan that has put in time and effort to follow the promotion for years. I loved CHIKARA before this storyline, i followed it for years however only a few months ago I yelled "JUST KILL IT ALREADY" about it. Sorry to waste your time, hope you didn't put off anything major to reply.

This episode was the nail in the coffin for me. I'm now proud to call myself a Chikara fan. Can't wait for May 25th. Wish I could be there.

This episode was the nail in the coffin for me. I'm now proud to call myself a Chikara fan. Can't wait for May 24th. Wish I could be there. Just the sheer audacity of it makes me want it to succeed

Though they didn't have Condor Security knock on everybody's door, they did mail their fan base letters saying "Believe" with the show date, signed by various wrestlers.

How did/do they determine who gets a letter? Did they just mail them at random?

Sonjay Dutt is on this week, as he and Colt were together on a tour of India recently.

Really fun episode, giving a new perspective on differences between US and India. I hope Colt recorded a podcast with Kevin Matthews as well.

Freight Train doing an AMA is the best wrestling news of 2014.

EC3's little rant at the end about getting under someone had me cracking up at work.
Its interesting to hear about Cena getting behind him and Trent? and WWE still not feeling it.
I'd love to see Trent? doing some random stuff in TNA too.

Basically what I've learned is don't impress John Cena. I read somewhere that Johnny Gargano said that John Cena loved his stuff but didn't have the ability to get him hired. I think he was telling to the truth.

Really awesome episode, put a smile on my face while listening. Tony seems like a cool, energetic, positive guy, the opposite of most ECW guys.
Colt is just on another level when it comes to wrestling podcasts. I could listen him talk to most random, obscure guy I can't even find on Google... and Colt still would make it work with his approach and lighthearted conversation.

What was nice about DeVito's was just the dude's positivity and how he has such a healthy perspective of what his place in the business was. Plus, very nice to see that when he started to have health issues he was able to let the in ring work go for the most part.

Bennett was a good show, by the way. Surprised there's little talk about it.
