The latest episode of Raw begins, and the video quality, instead of the usual HD, looks like a mid-1980s straight-to-video movie. The Shield are running about backstage, and Chris Jericho (circa 1999) and Stone Cold follow them into a giant cage backstage, where they and a third guy (whom I don't remember) battle the Shield and win.
Commentary tells us that the Shield has come back to our time from the future in order to change history. I see the Shield's future world, run by overlords that look like discarded GWAR characters. One of them has one giant solid eyeball for a head. They plot their next move, which is an AWA revival in an attempt to create a new Monday Night Wars.
Then the show heads back to the present, where WWE is celebrating their great victory with a rock concert. And the band is:
Guitar - Man Mountain Rock Vocals - Bam Bam Bigelow in a cowboy hat Keyboard - Razor Ramon Drums - Michael Keaton as BATMAN
Michael PS Hayes (presumably as Dok Hendrix) excitedly runs about the concert hall, sees a slot machine and almost inserts money, but then worries he might slide back into his gambling addiction and changes his mind. Instead, he announces that Raw will be right back after these messages. Cut to the outside of the building (which looks like a small office complex rather than an arena) and even though Hayes said we'd be right back, the bottom of the screen flashes a Copyright 2011 WWE. (Yes, the dream takes place in 2011, apparently).
Then I wake up confused.
