I always liked WWF more, I thought something about WCW looked cheap and felt that it was like a ripoff. Looking back I wish I had been fairer to it and watched it more when it was around.

WCW from 96-99 then WWF from then on. Still think WCW dying is the biggest disaster to ever happen in wrestling It may seem hyperbolic, but the historical impact of Atlanta closing is only starting to rear its unfortunate head. Wrestling, as a whole, has shrunk in its absence. Only starting too? WCW's fanbase left wrestling and never came back to it straight after it was gone, the effects were felt immediately after it closed in my opinion (Not to mention wrestlers employer options essentialy being cut in half)

Oh, I remember at first, although I liked watching both of them, I was more pro-WWF. I also remember when a friend of mine and I got into a heated argument about which was better, ending with him grabbing my head and shaking because he pretty much wanted to beat the shit out of me. Although later on, I started to prefer watching WCW, but I almost always went back and forth between the two of them.

I started out Pro WWF I watch Monday night Raw right after the fresh Prince of Bel Air on NBC back in 1993-1995 than I found of WCW from one of my schoolmates and then from 1996-1999 I Was in WCW's camp I watch Raw on occasion but WCW for the most part was my go to for my wrestling fix. But after the finger poke of doom I Give up on WCW and went back to WWF full time

In the heat of the war, I was one of those 50/50 channel changers. Both companies had guys I marked for and would watch without fail (Vader, Sting) along with crap that warranted an instant switch to the competition (Gang Warz, all of the nWo B Team except for Norton).
When WCW started into its downward spiral, I leaned more towards the WWF, but still hopped over to TNT often enough, until the infamous Bischoff/Russo "reboot". I thought stripping every champion of their titles "just because" was pretty much the stupidest thing in the history of pro wrestling, and I pretty much stuck with the WWF exclusively from then on.

I was always much more into Raw, but Nitro started at 8 and Raw started at 9 so I would watch the first hour of Nitro first. it worked out because the first hour always had the great cruiserweight matches which imo blew out the rest of Nitro. I would switch during Raw commercials but never usually stood to watch Nitro.

I would watch both, but I know at a certain point I definitely started going WWF over WCW. I remember being on vacation once and seeing WCW was on and going "Holy crap. I haven't seen this in a while."

There's only one, true global stage on which to learn now, and with that comes a uniformity in teaching/learning that isn't going to benefit the industry greatly in the long run.

I watched the WWF only, as it was the only one I really knew/the only one I knew was televised in the UK.

Well, from what I remember of TSN's wrestling policy back then, WCW would air Tuesday nights at 10PM MST and go until Midnight, but would be on Wednesday afternoon's from Noon to 3, which meant if I was going to tape it (and I was), I'd go for the Wednesday block. Raw would at least occasionally air from 7-9 on Mondays, though it usually got preempted for Hockey/Baseball/Basketball. I'd always watch Thunder on Thursday nights, though; it legitimately bugged me when they moved to Wednesday. So... I guess while I never officially took a side, I probably saw more WCW back then... but I did enjoy Raw a bit more, and had more WWF toys than WCW. (I think the only WCW toy I had was the Kevin Nash with powerbomb action), and... I did own WCW Mayhem for the N64. Piece of shit that was...)
The funniest damn thing, though, was when Raw moved to TNN (Spike), because I had assumed it meant that Raw would... ya know, be on when 7 rolled around. But even back in 2000, I can vividly remember ****ing reruns of CSI airing in that time slot instead.

I was always WWF. Grew up watching it, whereas I never really watched WCW until the nWo started. I'd watch Nitro whenever Raw as on commercial, or if there was a good cruiserweight match.

I was loyal to Raw, but didn't hate Nitro. I'd watch that during commercial breaks. I'd watch the first hour of the Nitro replay before work. If I chose to nap before my 11-7 shift, I set Raw to record on my VCR. So I currently have a lot of Raws from late-1996 into early-1997.

Started off as WCW, then around mid-97 I switched over to WWF, and from there I never looked back.
