If Zack Ryder can't get out the doghouse, what the f*** makes Riley think he can?

Some cringeworthy tweets by Riley Just like is commentary work Indeed. I mean, shit, does he really think they'll decide "YUP, HE TWEETED AT BROCK LESNAR, LET'S HAVE HIM FACE HIM FOR THE TITLE!"? He's just awful.

He wants to grab the brass ring. *Squee* If Zack Ryder can't get out the doghouse, what the f*** makes Riley think he can? As a fan of both, I'd say that A-Ry is slightly better in-ring than Zack. Riley would be a better fit to work with many of the newer talents coming up from NXT. And with the roster as thin as it is, they might as well use the guy. Most would probably rather see him wrestle, even as just a jobber, than be on commentary anyway. The dude kept himself in ring shape for the entire time that he was inactive. Despite being put on the broadcast team, he still went to the performance center to train in the ring. That's how bad he wants it. Vince and/or HHH should be impressed by that on some level. He should at the very least be wrestling on Main Event, or on PPVs as the "piss break before the main event" match. I think Zack's better than Riley, but I do think they could stand to use him. If they wanted to put this twitter stuff on the air, they could have Alex biting off more than he could chew and even if he obviously wouldn't be wrestling Brock, I could see Rusev annihilating him if they wanted Riley to be trying to get attention by starting shit with guys out of his league.

He's just awful. No he doesn't really think that. He never mentioned the title or being in the main event at all. The guy just wants to actually have matches. And I think he's earned at least that much.

Yeah, I doubt Riley thinks that just tweeting they will give him a title match out of nowhere.
They should let him wrestle since he's better at that than he has ever been at commentary... or speaking in general... but that's not really setting the bar that high admittedly.

Huh, Rollins is a CJ Parker guy, apparently.

Except Morrison wanted to leave WWE. Yeah, he asked for his release didn't he? Or is Lucha Underground saying WWE should have forced him to stay?

Except Morrison wanted to leave WWE. To be fair, that was after being booked like shit that whole year. It'd be like blaming Cesaro for saying "f*** this" right now. Sometimes WWE pushes people out.

Actually JoMo was booked solidly until his dustup with Trish Stratus. And even then, it was better than what most other midcarders at the time got.

Post-Mania, I just seem to remember him losing...a lot. He was still the #3 face on RAW behind Cena and Rey and didn't lose to anyone below upper midcard.

Actually he got to main event Extreme Rules, which was after the Trish Stratus thing. He really didn't get booked badly until after he returned from injury, which was likely when he told the WWE he wasn't renewing his contract. So I don't think his booking had anything to do with Trish Stratus, and the whole situation was blown out of proportion by the dirtsheets.

Naw, JoMo mentioned he should handle the situation with Trish better than how it went down. JoMo left because his body couldn't handle the weekly grind of WWE. Even when word got out that he wasn't renewing his contract, he still was treated good. Even his last WWE match against the Miz made him look stronger than Miz which is weird considering he was leaving and Miz was being revamped into a main eventer at the time.
