My sentiment exactly. There was an old radio show that transferred to early television dealing with a Jewish family in Brooklyn that was very popular. If this is a reimagination, I am interested, but wary. It is way too easy to fall into stereotype with something like this. so it's not a Nutty Professor-esque sitcom where the entire family (including the sassy grandma, nerdy son and cousin with tourettes syndrome) are all played by Bill Goldberg?

The X-Factor returned last night to a series low 2.1 and 6.17 million viewers. I can't see FOX renewing it for another year at this rate.

The seventh and final season of Mad Men will be split in half. The first 7 episodes will air in 2014, and the final 7 will air in 2015.

The split season makes me really annoyed. AMC wants to milk the last of their critically acclaimed shows since they'll just have Walking Dead for ratings.

How did Dads do? I didn't think it was very good and don't think it will last.

How did Dads do? I didn't think it was very good and don't think it will last. Dads scored a 2.1 rating, but it wasn't the worst rating of the night on FOX (The Mindy Project got a 1.9). I use TV By the Numbers, by the way. Never underestimate the audience for crude and offensive humor.

Decent debuts for FOX's new comedies- Brooklyn Nine-Nine did a 2.5.

I thought Brooklyn Nine-Nine was alright. I'm going to keep with it. I'm going to give Dads another couple weeks, but I just don't think that one is going to make it.

I actually think "Dads" could have done a better number for its premiere, considering that the number of viewers is likely to drop over the next few weeks. Should be interesting to see how next Tuesday's episode does, but I personally hope the entire show bombs. The pilot was some really awful television.

It's going to be going against the series premiere of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and the season premiere of NCIS on Tuesday. It's going to get obliterated, it doesn't have good buzz and it's going against the top rated scripted show, and the most anticipated new show.

It's also going up against The Voice, one of the biggest shows on TV right now.
