It's kind of Funny that Mark Henry is the only one connected to the Harts that has seen any level of success since the 90s.

Considering the Camp he was in wasn't run by the Harts and Bret didn't even know The School existed at the time. I say he doesn't count. In fact, I think the only experience he had with any of the Harts was that one day when one of the brothers came in and bullied Jericho by trying to break his teeth.

Keith was the one collecting the tuition, that counts for something. No? Bueller? Bueller?

It was a crazy decision to break up the Hart Dynasty. They were doomed the instant that Vince started publically dissing them (which I never understanding the logic of) via his mouthpiece Michael Cole.

The closest thing I remember was something to do with the Hart Dynasty. Thats also when Hornswoggle AA'd Tyson Kidd, and I can't remember if anything embarassing happened to DH then. Probably, considering he did nothing after that split. Can we count that stupid cowboy hat and expression thing? Also, IMO, she got pops because of the initial "OH MY GOD, IT'S BRET H....Oh, it's just Natalya..." I mean, I like her, great wrestler, but she just doesn't connect with the crowd. Now, if she grew a beard that she'd always stroke, or became a masked wrestler called "WHAT?", then she'd be over.

Was he officially trained at the Dungeon or was it a situation like Jericho where it was only The Dungeon in name?

Probably part of the reason why he was known for being hard on rookies.

I must say, I agree that Natalya's pops had a lot to do with having the classic Bret Hart guitar squeal thing as the intro, and having the Sharpshooter as a finisher. I don't mean to diminish her talent, but that's iconic stuff and it's going to get a pop from part of the crowd, and that's going to sound impressive compared to the reactions the other divas get.

I couldn't believe how Cole would be ripping into the Harts for weeks on end, then Natalya gets a "heel turn" and all of a sudden, she's kissing Michael on the cheek and they're buds.
Heel logic, gotta love it.

The flatulence gimmick they gave her bears all the hallmarks of someone in WWE punishing her for something.

I think that Natalya just doesn't fit the WWE image of the Divas Champion is.

Nattie's not a particularly good actress and most of her popularity came from Bret's coat tails, but she was still over, at least, slightly. That should have been used as a launch pad for giving her good matches, and doing something unique with the title. But nope.
