That's very interesting to me. I had assumed that if Whedon moved on, they'd go with James Gunn. Using the Russo brothers tells me that Steve, Bucky, or both have a huge role to play in the storyline. I'd read a rumor that {Spoiler}{Spoiler}Chris Evans wouldn't be in Infinity War: Part 1, leading me to believe that we're getting Bucky Cap at least temporarily following Civil War. I just know that they're going to be letting me down huge if I don't get to see this on screen: YES! {Spoiler}This needs to happen in Infinity War and it needs to be Chris Evans who delivers it. So I sincerely hope he is there for both parts.

And that panel where Thanos pimpslaps Cap needs to be in Infinity War. As someone who usually supports the villain in nearly every form of media, I have to disagree. That pimp slap-induced death ruined what was quite a powerful speech.

That pimp slap-induced death ruined what was quite a powerful speech. Kind of the point. He knew what was about to happen and still mouthed off. To have either a deus ex machina or Cap somehow magically taking down the guy right there, there really wasn't any other route for that confrontation.

They can still do that pimp-slap or just have Thanos do something even more evil to kill Cap. Maybe punching him in the face instead of slapping him, although that would most likely be considered too brutal and could scare kids in the process.

marvel.com/avengersSite launched with what appears to be a teaser sample of the score. And it sounds pretty damn cool.

The final showdown between the Avengers and Thanos is an Infinity Gauntlet-on-a-Pole match. SWERVE! Captain America is really Gamora's long lost brother and he eventually forms the Guardians of the Avengers World Order with Gamora, Hawkeye, and Star-Lord. Thanos in the mean time is revealed to have been the father of Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver. It is a toss up between if there were more people in the Avengers or the nWo.

This movie needs to be 3 hours long. With such an awesome cast of characters, I don't see how everyone of them gets enough time to shine in a 2-2 1/2 hour movie. Especially Vision, such an awesome character and I'm worried that his story arc will be rushed and we don't get much of him in the movie at all. If that is the case, he better not be killed off and gets a bigger role in Infinity War. It'd be a real waste if he's only in the movie for like 10 minutes and then never seen in the MCU again.

Didn't Paul Bettany sign a multi-picture contract? If he did I assume we'll be seeing more of The Vision in future MCU. There's already rumors/theories that Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch will be part of the Inhumans.

{Spoiler}In new and mysterious Avengers: Age of Ultron character profile graphics discovered on Reddit, more promotional artwork is revealed as well as intriguing details surrounding the origins and abilities of James Spader's titular villain and Paul Bettany's the Vision. According to the former character's profile, Ultron is "first discovered as a simple computer program hidden among the ruins of the Chitauri invasion of New York" before being experimented on by Iron Man, aka Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.). "Setting out to exterminate all life on the planet, the unstable and emotional Ultron seeks to upgrade its mechanical body to an ultimate, unstoppable form. With an army of robotic drones and the ability to enter and corrupt any computer network, Ultron will stop at nothing to see humanity wiped out." It was previously declared that the Vision would be created by Ultron in The Avengers sequel, but the humanoid's profile suggests he will be programmed by the combined geniuses of Tony Stark & Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), and imparted with the ability to fly, project intense energy beams and change the density of his form."

Considering Whedon is on record as saying he joined The Avengers with the guarantee that "in the second one, the villain has to be Ultron, and he has to create the Vision", this is out of left field. Could be that Banner and Stark take over something Ultron started, or they could be responsible with reprogramming him (possibly using the J.A.R.V.I.S. AI as a starting block. Or the whole thing could just be misdirection. Also, new Vision promotional art:

This film comes out in May right? Just think if you aren't counting January we are four months away from its release. Time is flying by and my anticipation for it continues to grow. I love that they're not showing endless trailers, pictures, or behind the scenes footage in order to keep the suspense.
It's very much like an old school type of feel where the only information you're getting is the occasional(spelling?) article from a magazine, interview, and nothing else regarding the film.

Am I the only one wondering how they will tie it in with Agents of Shield?
