Melvin Guillard has been released from the UFC. Also I think this shocker at Bellator 113 is a clear early candidate for worst late stoppage of the year. Seriously? That ref needs some serious training.

Dan Henderson has made his interest to fight against Machida be known if Weidman can't make it to July. Their first fight didn't lived up to the hype but maybe they could have different approaches if they have 5 rounds to work with instead of 3.

I much rather see Weidman vs Machida pushed back even further than Hendo vs Machida 2. Also thankfully Bob Sapp has announced that he has retired from both MMA and Kick Boxing.

Not really news but both Rousimar Palhares (who also won the WSOF WW title) and Yushin Okami won their WSOF debuts.
Palhares vs Fitch would now be a interesting fight.

Following my previous post it made official Palhares vs Fitch will take place.
I'll givre some credit to WSOF for bringing a fight that people might actually want to see.

Tyron Woodley and Rory MacDonald will face off at UFC 174 in Vancouver in June. If Woodley wins, he's next in line to face Johny Hendricks.
