Dana White also apparently wants to make Weidman vs. Belfot happen in Brazil. IMO that's really stupid after all the hullaballo over Belfort needing to be clean in the US. Feels like Dana has gone super pro-wrestling promoter with Weidman. First the weird "USA vs. Brazil!" hype of the Machida fight that tried to overshadow the "Is Weidman a fluke?" with pure patriotism. I mean, they even played the amazingly awkward "BORN IN THE USA" following the win. (Seriously. Does no one listen to that song? "To go and kill the yellow man...") Now, after that win, he's pushing for an 'invasion' against one of Brazil's most popular fighters? Dear goodness, Dana. Are you wanting the image of Weidman waving the American flag while Brazil tries to light the octagon on fire?

It's weird how UFC portrays Weidman because they're more focused on showing him as a fluke instead of showing him as the new era in the middleweight division. Even UFC 168's tag line was silly because, apparently, some people doubted that he knocked out Anderson Silva "for real" the first time they fought.

Conor McGregor vs Dustin Poirier looks to be headed to 178. I can see that being very close but I'm leaning towards McGregor. As stacked as 178 looks right now, it better live up to all the promise.

Vitor has surprisingly been licensed by the NSAC to fight in Nevada and looks to be facing Weidman on December 6 in Vegas.

Sherdog forum is nuts if they have Cormier winning a "Who will win" poll by a 3:2 margin
Jones has this

If DC can't get inside, it'll be a long long night.

Sucks Gus is out but shit that's an awesome replacement.
I'm probably looking forward to it more than the original fight.

The oblique kicks are a-comin' for Cormier's bad wheel.

Was looking forward to the rematch. Not looking forward to this because I really think Jones is going to finish Cormier early.

Vitor Belfort has been given a granted a conditional license by the Nevada athletic commission so Weidman vs. Belfort won't be taking place in Brazil after all.

Matt Brown came in at 172.5 was given 2 hours to make weight, Dana White said that it won't affect his chance at fighting for the title if he beats Robbie Lawler.
I hope that the Diaz signing won't bite Zuffa's ass in the near future.

Diaz resigned to fight Anderson. Gina vs. Ronda.
UFCs seeming more gimmicky than it has in a while...

Diaz resigned to fight Anderson. Gina vs. Ronda. UFCs seeming more gimmicky than it has in a while... Anderson lost his aura of invincibility, GSP left, Chael retired after being busted and suspended for 4 illegal substances, Caín doesn't have much of a personality and Jones looked weak against Gustaffson. They're trying to use big names to make "super fights" but the lack of a big competitor in the horizon and the rise of new stars in the UFC, fights are tough to sell.
