Last weekend Tim Sylvia retired after commission said he was medically unfit to fight after weigh ins. He was scheduled to fight a man nicknamed "Banana".
He weighed in at a svelte 371 pounds... Yes that's a 3 in the hundreds place. Not a typo.

Cerrone isn't a man who will be out of the octagon for long. Eddie Alvarez is out of his fight with Ben Henderson in 2 weeks and Cerrone will replace him. That's gonna be a hell of a fight!

Anybody who hasn't seen Cerrone/Bendo I and II, drop everything and go find a copy of those fights. Don't read the results, just grab some popcorn and watch those 2 back to back. You won't regret it. First one won a bunch of FotY awards

Cerrone has gotten a LOT better since those first two fights. I can definitely see him beating "Smooth" this time.

Overeem vs Big Country being rumored for UFC 185 I believe that is pretty much confirmed now. Also, Glover Texeira is injured and his match with Rashad Evans has been scrapped. Bigfoot vs. Mir has been moved to that card as the new ME.

Brendan Schaub has opened his mouth and threatened to send the fake wrestler Brock Lesnar running back to fake wrestling if he ever steps back to the UFC.
I think a sickly diverticulitis riddled untrained Lesnar would maul Schaub, so it's humerous imagining what a healthy trained Brock Lesnar would do to him.

Did he not see Lesnar when he was in UFC last time? I mean, I know he wasn't great, but he was better than Schaub.

Schaub has such a high opinion of himself it's ridicolous but watching Brock beat him and then presumably kill him live in the octagon with a flensing knife and mount him on his wall would be a good watch.

Not sure if he would've won even if Overeem wasn't on roids, but he would've lasted longer at least. He himself has said he wasn't 100% for the fight.

If Joe Rogan basically made an intervention for Schaub when he lost to Travis Browne, imagine what he'd do if Schaub gets to fight Brock. Brock wasn't the most technical guy but I'll be damned if he wouldn't wreck Brendan Schaub relatively easy.

Cub with no love for McGregor. There are a LOT of fighters who hate McGregor, and not just at featherweight.

Matt Brown faces Johny Hendricks in Dallas on March 14. Big big fight. Also glad they're not doing the immediate title rematch. It may still happen, but at least Hendricks has to fight first.
