...Or not, as just announced on Bellator, he will be fighting Tito Ortiz on November 2nd on PPV. They did the whole "this is who I'm fighting" surprise intro and it came off as very odd on an MMA show.

Tito vs Rampage in 2013 ZZZZZZZZZZZZ I almost fell asleep while typing that.
Also King Mo won again which must make TNA somewhat happy.

Roger Gracie is one and done in the UFC. They decided not to renew his contract. For the best, the Gracie name means zilch in MMA in 2013.

I decided to get tickets to the final two shows of Bellator's next season. Hopefully, the tournaments are fun ones towards the end.

It doesn't help that the Gracies still seem to think that its 1995 where one dimensional BJJ fighters can beat everybody. Though maybe of one of these days Rickson Gracie will come out retirement and put his 400-1 record on the line.

Even though those complaints might sound contrived, if I was the UFC, I would have someone standing by to fight Shogun if Massachusetts doesn't give Chael a licence to fight.

I watched some of World Series of Fighting 4 last night. Now I know what I will be doing when World Series of Fighting 5 is on.
That of course is NOT watching World Series of Fighting 5. Holy shit this promotion seems like it's trying SOOOOOOOOOOO hard to imitate UFC and failing miserably. What with the hype music and the ring announcer's shitty "CAN YOU FEEL IT?" line trying to be "ITTTTTTTTTTT'S TIIIIIIIIIIME"
I actually expected to enjoy all of this but man I was not expecting the atmosphere to make me this annoyed

Well it just got worse as WSOF have said they are going to sign Brett Rogers.
Also looks like Jason Miller is back in the slammer

Well it just got worse as WSOF have said they are going to sign Brett Rogers. They decided against it. Whew. I'll actually be at WSOF 5. The card doesn't look horrible. It's not great, but it could be worse.

Up and down week for Bellator. Fight Master is moving to Thursday because of the ratings. They finally agreed with Alvarez, though, and he'll be fighting Chandler on the PPV. They are also not going to have a women's division for the time being.
I'm much more interested in Alvarez/Chandler than Ortiz/Jackson.

FS1 has reached distribution deals with Time Warner, DirecTV and Dish Network, increasing their number of homes from 45 mil to 90 mil. A deal with Bright House Networks is considered to be all-but-done which would add ever more.
That's huge for UFC and Fox.

Surprising news.
Some sad news, there. Hope he can transition to something else easily.

Shame about Struve, I've always enjoyed him, the freakishly tall bastard.

So there are rumors about Vitor Belfort and Dan Henderson fighting each other in a UFC Fight Night event in Brazil on October 9, sharing the card with Demian Maia vs Jake Shields.

The TRT levels in that fight just may make the arena a health hazard. Maia vs. Shields? Guess we know who Dana wants to cut next. Maia seems to be Dana's guy to go to when he wants to cut someone at WW. I bet you anything Kos would be gone if he lost had they fought.
