So it seems WWE is drawing in massive amounts of children after all lol oh wow. Seems like a pretty reasonable, responsible, adult way to show displeasure. As I've made pretty clear. Seems like pretty much the exact opposite to me.

Well boo'ing and cheering aren't exactly the most mature response one can have either.
If we're really arguing about maturity, the only "mature" response fans should give is sitting down and politely clapping when the wrestlers are done wrestling. That would be fun.

And forget the "walk out" nonsense. If I paid to go to a show, and a guy I don't care for wins a match, I'm not risking missing the rest of the show to "prove a point."

I don't think its any less mature than 50% or more of an arena just about booing John Cena out of the place.
You pay money to see/partake in something, you get to choose how to express yourself whether its mature or not, or if there is or isn't any consequences to your expressing yourself.

Walking out? That's REALLY immature. For example you don't just walk out during a speech, unless you're just a big baby, right?
No, you shut up, sit down, and politely clap after they're done. Maturity FTW!

Maturity FTW! Maybe start a small chant of "while I disagree with your character development and role in the company, I appreciate the match you just had." With some form of clapping, of course.

So how would we display our negative feelings about a booking decision in a grown-up and mature way? Complaining on the internet? We've tried that, it didn't work. Booing? Same goes for that. walk out. Or no sell it. Complete silence is a reaction you can't spin anything out of. That's not true at all. We've seen them manage to turn overwhelming boos into cheers time and time again, hell the pop they edit in for Smackdown is used so often and is so recognisable that it's even gotten its own name among the community. They would do the same here, edit in cheers, maybe edit in crowd reactions from other shows. No-one but the people that were there would even really be able to tell what was changed. I don't see how walking out is any more mature then turning your back on it. It just screams of taking their toys and going home because they won't play the way they want them to.

Right, you don't have to agree, but you have to clap. That's common courtesy, and also the mature thing to do. Not clapping is right out. We don't want immature people like that coming to our wrestling events, do we?

Turning around is more mature than chanting Bullshit or throwing trash in the ring.

Sit on your hands. or boo, since booing and cheering is the accepted and expect form there. Thinking about it I suppose you could start a chant for the guy who just lost, though I've always hated the "Let's go Cena/Cena sucks" chants but praising the beaten guy would get noticed. "Thanks Big E," or "Big E rules" or something giving him credit for the match's entertainment

There must be some kind of disconnect that I can't get around.

All we know, and if it's even true, is the fans turn their back to Bo winning. They could have boo'd Bo throughout the match and cheer Big E. I don't see how that changes much though.

Yeah, in this case, "maturity" is really subjective here. Just say you like or didn't like what they did and end this.
Me? I hope the entire crowd did it. It'll look hilarious on TV if they don't edit it out.

When I visualize this in my head, the image that comes to mind is just like a child crossing their arms and turning their back on their parent when they're told to do something they don't want to. A sort of prelude to a tantrum.
