Maybe only Fandango knows.

It is seriously ridiculous, in this day and age, with the incredible power of the internet at our fingertips, that no-one has found out who she is. It took a bit to find out who Claire was. As well as the NXT addition we thought was a feminized Del Rey for a few weeks. Although, I have to agree with CNJG; not everyone has to be internet famous, especially since not everyone wants to be internet famous.

Some of the comments in this thread about tracking her down and trying to find out her name are really creepy and I don't like it.

Maybe she doesn't use any social media at all. Good for her though, she's not online bragging about being on TV, and there's no one sending her awful comments about things they want to do to her etc. I likes a little mystery, nothing has any mystique anymore. But Fandangirl does. Or maybe she was embarrassed to be associated with professional wrestling. Hell, Claire Lynch was embarrassed to the point that she quit when her real identiy was discovered and her first job was playing Olive Oyl at Disney World.

Claire didn't leave because she was embarrassed to be part of wrestling, she left because a bunch of idiot fans made it their job to constantly harass her on her website, Youtube, LinkedIn, etc.

I want Fandangirl's identity to remain a mystery. Feels better that way. She graced us with her presence and vanished like Amelia Earhart.

Some of the comments in this thread about tracking her down and trying to find out her name are really creepy and I don't like it. I don't see why. It's not like she's some random woman in a supermarket, she's a performer who was on TV for weeks and people thought she did a good job and want to know more about her.

What would be the benefit of knowing what her name is? So you can track her down on twitter or facebook? If her information got out, not only would there be a barrage of creepy fans trying to tell her how hot she is (because this is the IWC and you know it would happen), but it could potentially lead to her address, college and place of work being leaked. The way that I see it, one of two things happened. Either she decided to not continue with the WWE gig, which is her choice and people should respect that. Or the WWE decided to use Summer Rae instead of her, in which case there's nothing you can do about it.

Jeez, not everything is so sinister! Finding out information about someone who entertained you can be perfectly innocent.

She had all of her stuff removed so quickly, (her web page and Youtube videos were taken down within a couple of hours after her real name leaked out) that I doubt she could've been harassed about it much anyway. And she was supposedly still playing Olive Oyl at Universal Studios in Orlando, even after leaving TNA and dropping all contact with them.

Some people just wanna know a name so they can follow their work, should they continue it. However, there are those for who a name leads to want of a school, school leads to want of an address and down it goes from there. For such reason, if she wants her anonymity, she should have it and a tip of the hat for keeping it so long. If she doesn't, we'll see more work from her soon enough. Either way, I'm cool.

The mystery adds to her appeal. Not knowing her identity is surprising considering how much is known about people when they're signed. Although when I think about it, I don't think we really found out who Dr. Shelby was either.

It's amazing how she came this far and was not able to be identified, not one person in her circle leaked her identity, and how she apparently would prefer to stay modestly anonymous when many other fame hungry people would embellish that they made TV appearances. Claire Lynch and Chelsea of TNA were identified quite easily by many others who cared to know about it, yet not a shred of information on the internet exists about Fandango's original brunette.
I think the cognitive dissonance of all of this is the key to her appeal.
The fact that people accustomed to fast information aren't getting what they want in a click. The fact that she is trying to avoid fame when many others want visibility. As well as the elusive qualities she showed on television unbecoming of typical WWE divas.

Surely the fact that she sucks at acting would be a far greater hindrance to her chances at "real acting jobs".
