Thought this is a bit interesting. He can never challenge for the TNA World Heavyweight Title again what do you think he'll do now (Assuming TNA sticks with the stipulation)
I can see him teaming with Angle and someone else at BFG to take on Aces and Eights. After that I'd love to see him team with a younger guy and go after the World Tag Titles. Spend a year or two in the tag division and just go into a semi active role.
What do you all think?

Hopefully he'll finish his Aces and 8's feud and retire. Sting has done everything he needs too and surely has enough money to retire in peace.

WWE like his fans have probably begged him to do and face Taker at Mania. You know, before both guys can't walk anymore.
I also don't get why he wears the shirt. I saw it all ripped up and Sting still seems to have a good body for his age. Sure, he has a gut. But so does Taker, Kane, HHH...ect. So it's kind of annoying.

WWE like his fans have probably begged him to do and face Taker at Mania. Just what I want to see, Sting; the last remaining remanent of WCW, the face of the company if you will, square off against the face of the WWF at the time in a match that is heavily predictable and serves no purpose outside of fantasy booking. If Sting didn't go to WWE in 2004, I certainly don't want him to go there in 2014, a point when both Undertaker and Sting are so far beyond the point of the Monday Night Wars that the match doesn't matter at all.

I predict that he gets around to seeing 'the Watchmen' and realizes that he hasn't ripped off Rorshach yet. Inkblot Sting forthcoming.

Retirement, hopefully. And in the WWE Hall of Fame is he want's to remembered for years to come.
I have nothing against the guy personally. But at his age and the shape he's in today, he really has no business wrestling anymore.

WWE would bury him in with other past superstars with more of a history in the 'E.

WWE would bury him in with other past superstars with more of a history in the 'E. Well, he was never a big draw or big star, so if he's definitely not going to headline a Hall of Fame class. Especially since they have Rock, Triple H, Undertaker who most likely will be going in the next few years. Hell, maybe they can give him a match at WrestleMania. He'll go from wrestling in 5000 seat arena's weekly to wrestling in from of 80,000 people and getting that big moment in front of a big crowd on the biggest stage of them all. I'm pretty sure Sting would be able to pull out a decent showing at WrestleMania if he does in within the next two years.

Wait...Sting was never a big draw or a big star? Nope, name one thing he did in WWE. edit I feel a strong wish for a "sarcasm" code....

Wait...Sting was never a big draw or a big star? I was comparing him to guy's like The Rock, Taker and Triple H. I said that he'll never headline a Hall of Fame class because he was never as big of a star as those guy's who were big stars in the WWE and would likely headline a WWE Hall of Fame class over Sting who made his name in WCW.

Yeah I was thinking he does his usually disappearing act and then reappears several months later and wins the title again.

I said that he'll never headline a Hall of Fame class because he was never as big of a star as those guy's who were big stars in the WWE and would likely headline a WWE Hall of Fame class over Sting who made his name in WCW. Well of course he wasn't as big of a name as they were in WWE because WCW hasn't been in existence in over 10 years. Longevity doesn't make you a bigger star than others. Triple H, while a star isn't on Sting's level during his peak in 1997. There's a reason Starcade was one of the biggest PPVs of all time. Triple H's biggest moment at WM18 is eclipsed by the notion of Rock vs. Hogan and has banked on that waning popularity for over a decade. Sting may work for a company that doesn't even touch WWE now in terms of audience, but if he showed up on Raw next week, the place would erupt. Hopefully he doesn't though, because that window should have been closed 10 years ago. Triple H should step away too.

Making the assumption a "last title shot ever" stipulation will stick is a massive leap.

Making the assumption a "last title shot ever" stipulation will stick is a massive leap. Why? They stuck with the AJ 1 year stipulation.

Taking some time off, then going for the tag titles would be pretty cool. Roode & Aries vs Sting and the right tag partner for BFG sounds good to me.
But if you're going to pair Sting with a young guy, let's make sure they're actually YOUNG. Like under 30. Magnus might be a good choice.

Sting in 97 was as hot as ANY wrestler ever. Don't let the E fool you. Don't let the next 16 years fool you. Re-watch the last few weeks/months before Starrcade 97 and then his intro....it should be chills every time. There are not many things you can re-watch almost twenty years later and get chills. Savage and Liz reunion at WM7 is the one that pops into my mind
