I catch saugeyes quite commonly and they are a natural fish hybrid. Mule's are probably the most well known hybrid, female horse and a male donkey (I believe). Really? I didn't know that. I thought Mules were Just a different breed of Donkey. Kind of like Black Bears and Polar bears. The same in many ways, But different on appearance. I just learned something new. So where does the Borough (I think I spelled that right) come into play?

Speaking of hybrid animals, I've always wondered whether or not an Emu/Ostritch hybrid is possible.

Hybrids have always kind of bothered me, ethically. Not that there's really anything wrong with crossbreeding 2 animals, but a lot of times, it's trial and error and you end up with many many failed attempts and animals with birth defects or ones that don't survive very long, like the African elephant/Asian elephant hybrid. And sometimes you end up with Cows that will "WRECK YOUR HOUSE"! Okay this is freaking horrifying

Speaking of hybrid animals, I've always wondered whether or not an Emu/Ostritch hybrid is possible. I highly doubt it. Ostriches usually are about 3 times as big as an emu and there's plenty of other subtle differences that would play a major part in terms of crossbreeding. In terms of crossbreeds that are awesome, I nominate the Savannah. It's a domesticated house cat bred with a Serval. As a result, the Savannah is much more playful, enjoys fetching and can be talk to walk on a leash. It also has a habit of chirping instead of meowing. So yes, it's practically a dog that doesn't require AS much attention and lives for twice as long. Where do I sign up?
