Once again I'm not sure whether the opponent for Roy Nelson has the power to knock him out while Roy has more than enough to knock them out.

Stout and Krause are just beating the holy hell out of each other and its awesome and Figueroa almost won so far the prelims have been pretty awesome. I am respecting that the ref let the fight go on after Stout started bleeding but after the tap out jeez he was gushing

James Krause squeezes Sam Stout's bleeding head so hard that it looked like he was spraying ketchup over the side of his abs, wins in the last few seconds of the 3rd round with a tapout. The first non-decision of the night.

Sitting in the MTS Centre as we speak, the atmosphere here is amazing. Never been to a live card before, this is just awesome

Hopefully Tyron Woodley pulls out another sudden explosive KO because I have the feeling if he doesn't we are in for a contest between him and Jake Shields over who can bore us to death the more.

Honestly I don't know much about Jake Shields how good is he Won 15 consecutive fights over 6 years, won the StrikeForce Welterweight title (his biggest defense was against Dan Henderson). His wins streak was broke by GSP. Went 1-1 before his last fight (against Ed Herman) which was overturned due to Shields being busted for a PED.

Brian Stann @brianstann 17s Shields being smart, grind explosive guys in rnd 1, creates lactid acid in muscles & reduces power, but Woodley has fast twitch to spare

How many times is Goldie going to say explosive during this fight. Depends on how active Woodley is.

I have a feeling UFC was hoping Woodley would repeat his last performance and they would be able to cut Shields. Boring fight but no surprise.
Passing on this event, hopefully it turns out pretty good though.

It doesn't matter whoever won that fight we all lost 15 minutes of our lives that we will never get back.

Its obvious he is bitter that Woodley didn't knock Shields out.
Which is what I wanted too.

After Prelims that all went to a 3rd round, the first fight of the main card doesn't go a minute as Pat Barry loses to Shawn Jordan.
