got really far in TLOU yesterday. finally found a valid criticism. without spoiling anything, that part where the game pretty much stops so you can go shoot a deer with a bow-and-arrow was pretty poorly done. worst possible time to bring the game's story to a screeching halt. I understand why you're doing it, I just think they should've come up with something more fun than chasing a deer around for like an hour using the worst weapon in the game.

I didn't love the deer hunt but I managed to get it done pretty quickly so it didn't bug me as much.
The only times in the game I got truly frustrated (I mean, besides at myself for making a dumb move and being swarmed by clickers) were when you'd have Bill with you, or Ellie had her gun, and they would give you the worst back up of all time. I know I can't rely on them and I have to take care of business myself, but when I have two runners on me and they aren't being attacked, please fire your damn weapon. Thanks.

My PSN name is ToyfareMark (Hard to believe isnt it?). I'm a bit worried about this firmware update as I'm sure PS+ automatically downloaded it. I know that I still have to manually install it, so I can just say no. But saying no won't allow me to really do anything on my PS3 will it? I also pre-ordered a PS4 through Amazon. The only game I have pre-ordered with it so far is Watch Dogs, not really seeing anything else interesting to me yet. It wasn't a critical update you can still do everything normally.

I personally enjoyed the deer hunt and love the bow. It is a great stealth weapon.
Also can I just say, they done it? Those magnificent bastards at Naughty Dog's A team finally did it.
They created the first survival horror game(or survival horror stealth, or at the very least survival stealth, whatever) to be scary/tense in the daylight, imo.

I love that it used no jump scares. All they really used was tension.

I love that it used no jump scares. All they really used was tension. And for me the tension was mainly tied to the music. Once I realized that a specific kind if music would play when enemies were nearby I would tense up whenever I heard that type of music play. They kept me on my toes by even playing that music at times when no enemies were actually around. {Spoiler}Soooo.......Savage Starlight......that's going to be ND's next game right? I mean if it remains just an in series thing that's cool but we all know how they like to leave hints about their next games plus they freaking made a website for Savage Starlight.

I dunno about the Last of Us. I'm tempted to get it ith the rave revies it's getting but I have a big stack of other games I haven't completed yet.
In the meantime anyone fancy hitting me up fo some Injustice? I'd like to play someone who won't flame me for my limited skills. It's not that I suck persay it's just that I'm not good at thinking on my feet. That and I have trouble memorising and executing combo strings. But I really want the Yello Lantern skin!!!

Im curious how much the Guns n' Roses pinball table would cost to make, do they have to go make deals with every gnr member involved? ditto to obtaining the song "aint goin down" which was exclusive to the pinball machine.

My backlog is roughly 200 games long, TLoU still took over my priorities. Fine, I bought it! You happy now? At least I should have time on my hands. There's only three more games this year that I want, Beyond Two Souls, Arkham Origins and Assassin's Creed 4. Maybe GTAV, I haven't decided. And once I have those all my money will go toward investing in a PS4.

They have a method to un-brick your system with this update too. Since it really wasn't bricked, just had a software issue.

I don't own a Vita, but from what I've played, Virtue's Last Reward is definitely a game worth picking up if you've got it. But it's one of those games you've gotta play the first game in the series (999: 9 Persons 9 Hours 9 Doors) to really get.
