Pretty sweet. Might go for the free PS+ so I can get a proper taste of it before I sign up properly. It wont be available until May next year at the earliest, if it even goes through. Eh, f*** it, bit the bullet and got a 12 month. I was gonna hold off until my LIVE ran out, as it renewed itself automatically without telling me, rather annoyingly. But seeing as I never use the Xbox there days and I'm only my PS3/4 almost daily, might as well!

I'm good on my Plus subscription until the middle of December, so HAAAA!
BTW, went and picked up Lego Marvel on the PS4 anyways. $10.50 for one of my favorite games of last year (and able to pick up the trophies again), I couldn't pass that up.

Actually, they're pretty much the same game, but if you like the Lego games and are a fan of the properties, then I would pick them up. They're just damn fun, and both games are hilarious (Batman 2 edges it out because of the Batman/Superman dynamic) but I loved Lego Batman 2 and Marvel, so...go nuts. Blindkarevik and everybody else, the Destiny beta is available for free now on the PSN store.

I personally much preferred marvel, and not because I am more a Marvel fan, but because it felt more well tuned and diverse than Bats did.

Oh, I meant in terms of humor, it was Batman 2 but Marvel is the better game out of the two. Of course, Batman 2 holds a place in my heart as my first platinum, so...

Downloaded Lego Marvel to play co-op with my girlfriend today. My word, what a carry on trying to set it up for two player. What was wrong with the old fashioned way of plugging in another controller and just playing the game with faffing about logging into guest accounts and what not?
Even more frustrating, despite the game saying it downloaded, it only let me play the first level and we got a message saying it was only 40% installed. Apparently, the initial download is just the basics... the main files download in the background so when it tells you the games installed, it actually isn't which was annoying.

Okay, I downloaded the trial version of PlayStation Plus to get Injustice and Lego Marvel on PS4, and I had a couple questions about the free games.
It says on the PS4 version of Strider that "You will be able to use this item as long as you remain a PlayStation Plus subscriber." From reading other people talking about Plus in the past, I was under the impression that once you downloaded the free game, you had it forever as long as you didn't delete it, in which case you couldn't get it again for free.
So what exactly is the deal here? If I download the games for July and August, will I not be able to play them after my Plus expires, or will I just not be able to download them again? (I'm asking for both PS3 and PS4 games.)

Games that are part of the Instant Game Collections (i.e. the free PS Plus games) only remain playable as long as you have an active PS Plus account. So, if you don't renew after your trial expires, Strider will be gone, but I'm under the assumption that if you ever decided to get PS Plus later on, it would return as a game in your library.

Okay, so if I renew down the road instead of immediately, I'll still be able to play the free games from July. Cool. ...mostly because I want Dead Space 3, but not badly enough to pay for it. So considering it's this month's free game, I'll take advantage. Thanks, mang.

With the PS Plus thing.... using Strider as an example. Say you download it with PS+.... once your membership lapses, that game won't uninstall itself from your Playstation. It'll still be there, but a lock symbol will appear on the icon and you won't be able to play it unless you re-up. But, once you do re-up, the lock will be removed and you can play as usual.

Pretty much. If you grabbed it for download, it's going to stay on your account regardless of if your PS+ subscription ended and new games are added afterwards. That's the great thing about it. So, if you nab Strider or Dead Space 3 NOW and then your Plus subscription ends and the August games get added, you'll still be able to download Strider and/or Dead Space 3. == uproxx.com/gammasquad/2014/07/sam-raimi-the-last-of-us-movie-maisie-williams/Sounds like Ms. Arya Stark herself is being going to play Ellie in The Last of Us movie. Sam Raimi made an appearance at Comic-Con and pretty much announced the movie (even though we KNEW that they were making it).

Destiny's pretty good, playing as a Hunter and doing pretty well at the moment. Only annoying thing was that Spider Tank thing, team-mates didn't seen to realise it's legs were weak and just kept attacking the heavily armoured parts. Then they left and it kicked me from the mission. Blech.

Dicks. Looks like my PS4 might be knackered. Was playing Sniper Elite 3 when it randomly spat the disk out, and now it won't accept any. Unplugged it and gonna leave it for a while, hope it rights itself.

I was excited for Rogue Legacy under the mistaken belief it was gonna be a long awaited sequel to Rogue Galaxy. Unfortunately it's not Anyway, I'm really enjoying Lego Marvel. Very funny game, Hulk completely steals the show in it. Might give the Destiny beta a download in a little. Still bitter though that America gets it dirt cheap whilst in Taiwan we don't get a discount Although, everything else is much cheaper on TW PS Network compared to UK one. (On average, £30 for a game rather than £50+ like it is in UK so I guess that makes up for it). The PS+ subscription is cheaper too.

I am excited for Rogue Legacy for what it is, Castlevania-ish but each death leads to you using an off spring of your character with semi randomly generated stats.

That sounds quite interesting actually. Gotta admit, as soon as I realized it wasn't a Rogue Galaxy sequel I stopped reading about it. Never liked Castlevania but the death thing sounds pretty cool.
