Low-Ki has done everything that he can do on the indies and probably doesn't want to travel to Japan constantly, I don't really blame him for finding something new to do.

I wonder what will happen the first time he has to do a voice over for a character that does not win.

According to Wikipedia he's been wrestling since 1998 which is almost fifteen years. That's a pretty long time.
If he's a voice actor, he's so gonna get roles as a giant monster or something. It would be hilarious when people look him up and are surprised at his size.

I've met the man many times...His ego is what held him down not his talent

I'm not sure about that. Low Ki did interviews afterwards about how he was told to say he asked for his release rather then they released him, but that's also his story after his no compete ran out. That always seemed like back peddaling to me. Especially since quitting because he wasn't being pushed seemed to fit his usual m.o. on the Indies. MVP confirmed that he was fired. It's weird, Low-Ki was on his best behavior all throughout his WWE run... absolutely no reports of backstage attitude. And it's there that he was put into a position where he'd almost be JUSTIFIED to pull his crap: Getting punished for winning NXT, and being told that he wouldn't be popular, despite just winning a popularity contest. Makes me feel bad for the guy.

Well, that's certainly quite the calling, voice acting. Something he's very good at. It's a shame he didn't go far in WWE and kinda got screwed over. It's also a shame someone so talented can't seem to catch a break in north american wrestling (I'm not sure what happened with him in New Japan as that would seem to be his best option money wise). From what credible sources would say on the matter, Low-Ki's cosplay match is what got him canned from NJPW. Apparently some "sponsors" didn't like it and the office shoved all the heat onto him, claiming they had no idea he was going to go out there dressed like that. Then quietly kicked him to the curb as a punishment to try to appease them. Which really is a shame. By all accounts, his run in WWE and his run in NJPW he was something of a changed man, willing to be more relaxed about stuff. If the whole cosplaying to promote one of NJPW's sponsors and cutting his promos for NJPW like he's a villain out of a badly dubbed 70's kung-fu movie weren't indications of that.

Who cares about the dudes personal attitude, he's one of the damndest performers I've ever seen. A lot of wrestlers have crappy attitudes and huge egos, but most of them have big muscles and pretty smiles so its overlooked. And don't even give me that crap about him not being over. WWE could have thrown a cool costume on him and had the next Rey Mysterio. Instead, they ran with the same Low Ki from the indies only with a new name and the inability to win a match. He even jobbed to god damn Eli Cottonwood. Dragged a good match out of him too.

Funny thing is, even with how shoddy he was booked, Ki still got reactions in WWE for his matches too.
