So, as of 2013, Kurt Angle has been with TNA just as long as he was with WWE - 7 years. With an equal amount of time in both companies, in your eyes, is Angle a WWE or TNA guy?
Honestly, I think of him more as a TNA guy by now. I don't know if it's just because I follow TNA more closely than I did WWE whilst he was there, but I just associate him way more with TNA than I do teh 'E.
So, FAN, what say you? Is Kurt Angle a WWE or TNA guy?

Technically, he's a TNA guy, based on tenure, but having the likes of him and RVD complaining about people coming up to them in airports and asking, with no malice, 'hey, why d'you stop wrestling?' means he'll always be a WWE guy.

He's a TNA guy.
Reason? He's helped build TNA up, He's done the media rounds for TNA, He's been there whilst it grew, He's going into their Hall of Fame and he is (OR was) anti WWE for a very long time.

WWE guy, simply because his best work was there, for my money at least.

By name recognition, far and wide he's a wwe guy.
Wrestling talent wise, I think he fits more as tna guy.

By name recognition, far and wide he's a wwe guy. Wrestling talent wise, I think he fits more as tna guy. I found his TNA ringwork has made me question why I ever liked him in the first place. I will not deny I enjoyed a considerable number of his TNA bout, but I often get the feeling that not only have I seen that match 40 times before, which can be said of a lot of guys, but also that his style sometimes works to insult anybody who bothered to get invested in a match in the first place. I enjoy the sense of legitimacy and the level of intensity that he brings, but to my point, his random nip-ups irk me. Okay, it was a key element of HBK's arsenal. It got a good pop, and it made for a great moment, but even HBK would sell the fatigue of the match on the kick-up; he'd waddle a bit, and maintain a bleary expression to communicate just how much a toll that match had taken. Couple that with the fact HBK would only do it once a match, maybe twice on a really big occasion. Angle, on the other hand, will peppered any 'big' match with an array of possum-moments: the Angle-lock wake-up, the top-rope armdrag, the Angle-slam nip-out. It just gripes me that Angle, who can supposedly take so much of a battering without showing as much as a lick of it, and then I'm expected to buy that he can lose. And I ain't pretending I know shit about anything, just reflecting on my experiences as a keen viewer.

He was bald in WWE but I always associate that early Kurt Angle with hair with WWE and bald Kurt Angle with TNA.

Always WWE to me, but that might be because I don't watch much TNA.

Much like Sting will always be a WCW guy or Hogan will always be the face of the WWF to me, Angle will always be a WWE guy just based on the fact that tenure or not, it's where most of my memories lie with him.

Honestly, i consider him to be a TNA guy now. The problem with a lot of ex-WWE guys that come to TNA is that they don't really affect the product in any significant way and their characters are the same that they were in WWE. Angle, IMO, has more than paid his dues to be called a TNA guy.

For all that's he done for TNA, he's still widely remembered as a guy from WWE, or a gold medalist to a lesser extent.
And I predict that no matter how long he sticks with TNA he'll always be widely seen as a WWE guy.
