Slightly off-topic, but Sabu deserves some props for that gif up there. That's quite a bump. It's certainly better than the time he tried to bump over the top in TNA of the Pounce and got tangled in the ropes. And yeah, he's a personal trainer now.

The pounce led to some of my favorite sells in wrestling.

I recall a promo where Vince McMahon was speaking to the Alpha Male and was clearly impressed with him.

It helped that he started out working with guys who were familiar with him in TNA that knew how to make him look impressive straight away. I recall that his WWE debut was against Cassidy Riley.

Lots of potential. Too bad it wasn't meant to be.

Big E really needs the pounce. The Pounce was a great finishing move. Big E should use it. Actually if there's anyone who should use the Pounce, I think it should go to Roman Reigns (even though his spear is already badass). The Pounce is an awesome move, but I can't help but feel like if they gave The Pounce to Big E, it'll just end up with the label of a "Generic Black Guy Finisher" like the jumping complete shot. But then there are lots of other guys who I think could be given similar variations of the move as a signature - Daniel Bryan could rebound his opponent off the ropes, but instead of a shoulder block, he could do his running dropkick. - Alex Riley could do a more crisp, high-flier-esque version of the shoulder block with a great deal of hang time. - Someone like Drew McIntyre or Miz could use it as a transition for a running big boot. - Jack Swagger could do the rebound of the ropes to transition into his already awesome chop block.

One of the all-time disappointments for me is that he didn't get to have a long run in WWE. He could have been absolute money if things had went differently for him.
And unfortunately the only game he made it in was SVR08... which sucked.
We'll always wonder how things could have been.

Plus it helps Roman Reign used to play football professionally.

Monty Brown and Rhino would have made a great upper-card powerhouse tag team. I wonder how the logistics of a Pounce/Gore combo finisher would work.

Dude was a beast in TNA. IMO, he should've gotten Lashley's push.
Also, he was on the Patriots when he played football so that's another plus in my eyes.

I imagine the poor bastard gets blindside POOUUUNCED!, takes a huge bump while twisting slightly sideways RIGHT into the Gore. It's too badass to even be done.

Not many people know this, but Brown was close friends with (and was trained by) Sabu. (He had a shawn Michaels/Daniel Bryan relationship with Dan Severn, apparently.) It wouldn't surprise me in the least if Sabu gave him "a bit extra" in that GIF.

Used to love putting him against Jobbers and just pouncing them over and over.

We need someone to get the pounce and have them feud with Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler gets hit and just flies off screen permanently.
