So bummed out for the Racers. We're being robbed of seeing Cam Payne go off on some 5 seed. Instead, we're gonna get.... Purdue or Texas.

Many NC State fans stopped their "Wolf! Pack!" chant during Syracuse's starting lineups long enough to strongly boo Boeheim when he was introduced prior to the game.
Then others sang the chorus from the Village People's song "YMCA" during Syracuse's early possessions. It was a reference to some of the violations outlined by the NCAA, notably that a booster had provided more than $8,000 in cash to three football and two men's basketball players for volunteering at a local YMCA.

Duke is just flat out better than UNC this season (thanks Captain Obvious).

They can't shoot and don't defend. That's usually an upset worthy combination. Especially with them likely destined for the 5/12 games.

Kentucky's reward for going 31-0 is going to be the toughest region in the Tournament due to "geographical preference". That's just great. What's the point of running the table then?

Just like last year. Wichita State ran the table and got thrown into the region with Michigan, Duke, Louisville (who was a 4 when they should have been a 1), and Kentucky. Or in 2003 when Oklahoma was a 1 seed, thrown into the Albany region, and Syracuse was the 3 seed in the region. Or 2004, Kentucky gets a 1 seed, is thrown into the St Louis region, while KU is the 4 seed in that region. The NCAA, they'll find a way to f*** up the bracket.

They also got UK in 2003 as well. #1 UK went in to the NCAAs on a 27 game winning streak, and were sent up to Minnesota with Wisconsin and Marquette as their 3 and 4 seeds. That was hilarious. The latest Bracketologies are absurd. Compare Duke (3 losses) and undefeated UK and their seeded roads to the Final Four: UK - Ohio State, Baylor/UNC, Notre Dame/Wisconsin Duke - VCU, Utah, Iowa State/Gonzaga That's insane! It isn't even a matter of fear. UK should be favored in each game and should win each of them. But it's a matter of principle. You literally go through a season perfect, and your draw looks like the worst of the four potential #1 seeds. What?

Looking it up, I forgot just how f***ing insane it was last year in the Women's Tournament. Notre Dame was a 1 seed, and they were put in the Notre Dame region, that makes sense. UConn was the 1 seed, and they were put in the Lincoln region, Nebraska was the 4 seed in that region. Tennessee was the 1 seed in the Louisville region, where Louisville was the 3, to be fair just like the Men's Tourney they probably should have been a 1. South Carolina was the 1 seed in the Stanford region, Stanford was the 2 seed in that region.
