Hey, guys. I don't typically do this kind of thing, but I'm just lost and confused and I could really use some help.
Basically, to try and sum this up quickly, there's this cashier who started working at a convenience store just a few months ago. In that time, I've really taken a liking to her as she is cute as can be, funny and she has a great personality. I had just decided that, rather than ask her out in one fell swoop, I was going to just take some time to get to know her and so she could know me.
So, that plan was going great... except she told me yesterday that she was thinking about transferring stores because of some troubles she's been having with her boss. Now, this place she might move to isn't too far out from where I live, but it's not an area I go to often because... well... there's not a lot to do out there. So, if she does indeed transfer there's a chance I may never see her again.
So that leads me to where I am now, and that's lost as to what to do. I don't want to see this girl move without her knowing how I feel about her, so I was going to just ask her if there was a way we could keep in touch. However, one of my friends on another forum advised me that, if I truly do like this girl to just ask her out before she transferred. In thinking about it all last night, I decided that I like the "ask her out" angle a lot more, but I just don't know how to go about it. To be perfectly honest, relationships and simply asking girls out is something that's completely new to me, and it's a nerve-wracking thought. I mean, I'm not even worried that she might say no, believe it or not, as I just want her to know how I feel.
But, I mean, I guess I am kind of worried if she says yes, mainly because I don't have a job. I'm 21 so I'm a student, and I have applied, I just don't have a job at the moment and I don't know if that'd matter.
It's just... I don't know. Like I said this is all really new to me so I'd really appreciate any help you guys could give me. I just can't let her transfer stores without her knowing how I feel about her, I just don't know how to go about that in the 2 minutes you have to talk to a cashier.
