I'll start, Rob Van Dam's first match in the WWE was against Jeff Hardy during the Invasion...no not the 2001 Invasion but the 1997 ECW Invasion when Jeff Hardy was still just a jobber.

WWE owns the rights to the initials WCW, ECW, AWA, WCCW but not WWF.

Well, it involved the WWE:
When Mike Awesome jumped ship from ECW to WCW, he was still the ECW Champion. So what they did, was Tazz returned, quickly beat Awesome for the belt, and that was that. But, the thing was, at the time, Tazz had already went to the WWF.
So to recap, on an ECW show, for the ECW Championship, it was a WWF Guy vs a WCW Guy.

Not really weird but I found out recently looking at Seth Rollins wikipedia page that it was Evan Bourne who convinced him to sign with WWE instead of going to TNA

Nearly half of all WWE World Heavyweight Champions have technically been cruiserweights.

The name Michael McGillicutty was named after a former WWE employee who worked in accounts payable in the early 1990s. He was notorious for putting in improper amounts on paychecks for WWE personnel. One day, Curt Hennig shows up in the office, finds McGillicutty and says, 'I'd kick your ass, but you have literally the worst f***ing name I've ever heard that I actually feel sorry for you.' Then he spit his gum out and smacked it in his face and left.

The first WWE Championship match was Hulk Hogan versus Ric Flair.

Between his 6 overall world title reigns in WWF/E and WCW, Randy Savage only lost it to Hogan or Flair.

I need a vintage source It's not from Wrestletaint.gov, this story stems from the pre-internet form of Wrestletaint.gov called the Wrestletaint 976 hotline. Horny, available operators were standing by to talk dirty to callers by offering them wrestling news and rumors in the most sultry, seductive way possible. Wrestletaint.gov filed a lawsuit against Mean Gene Okerlund when it turned out he was frequenting the hotline stealing news stories for his own hotline. The case was thrown out when Ted Turner's totally uncool attorneys got involved and starting smearing the Wrestletaint.gov hotline by saying that 92% of the callers were under the age of 18 (which was 'technically' true) which meant that the hotline was basically a breeding ground for perverts like Mean Gene Okerlund. In fact, during the deposition, anytime the phrase 'here's a scoop' would be said, Okerlund would get aroused and have to excuse himself from the conference room.

Rey is still not Dominick's biological father. This has not been mention since the Eddie feud.
