Sorry folks, I listened again, and they said $1.2 Million a month. That's 600K each taping. Which they still claim is too high for a company in cost cutting mode.

*TNA is losing 1.2 million a show from going on the road. No way. That makes absolutely no sense. Indeed. We know from Dixie that a single taping on the road was half a million dollars. According to the Observer, by taping two shows on the same night, they got the cost of one night of taping to 600000-700000$ depending on the venue. That 1.2M number just seems to be Court Bauer running with the 600000$ figure, and doubling it, as if it was "600000$ per show taped". And then, to add to the confusion, that huge 1.2M number suddenly becomes a "loss per show". BS. EDIT : Okay, so 1.2 million a month. That's the cost of the tapings. Doesn't mean that's a 1.2M$ loss each month. If just because of the gate, the merchandising, and the Spike Tv contract.

Rollins has NUCLEAR HEATZ? Big Show really does have a WMD. Bauer said something like the Shield (aside from Roman Reigns) are getting the attitude many wrestlers get when they're pushed hard and far on the card right out of the gate. And that's what is causing them problems backstage and ending their big push.

I don't listen to the dirt sheets, for every one thing they get right, there's like ten things that that are completely erroneous.

Why do we trust Court Bauer about any of this? A former writer and promoter who hasn't been involved in jack shit for years, other than stuff like this, is going to know better than anyone because why? Umm, because he knows almost everyone on the WWE payroll, all of the agents, and many of the creative team? Just throwing that out there.

yeah I'm willing to believe at least some version of what he's saying is true. some of it could just be good old fashioned hyperbole, though.
why would Rollins have heat with Big Show? I don't think they've even worked a match together and Show's been gone for a few months.

Not related to the Bauer/Pollock show, but Meltzer alluded on the most recent Observer show that Paige "did herself a disservice" this week, but didn't mention why that was. He said that this "disservice" may lead to her not being called up for a while.

Yeah, I doubt TNA is losing that much per taping. If they were, there's no way they'd still be doing it, they'd find some other studio or something to do long term cheaper. I'm sure it costs that much, but that can't be their losses.

Shield feuded with Show for two months including at Mania, one match in the feud being Rollins v. show on Raw that Rollins lost.

*Seth Rollins is the Shield member with Heat. Most notably with the Big show. *Some good new talent was set to debut, but he did something that pissed off management and his debut has been delayed. *TNA is losing 1.2 million a month from going on the road. *Universal Studios has already sold the iMpact zone to a new show. *TNA's late payments include Hulk Hogan. From the Pollock and Bauer show: datav3.fightnetwork.com/blog/39961.mp3I heard the 'good new talent set to debut, but...' is Kassius Ohno.

I think it'd be easier just to assume that everyone in the WWE has heat with someone unless otherwise noted.

As I said in another thread, Seth Rollins has shown in the past to at times be kind of a dick so it wouldn't surprise me if he does have an attitude.
Actually, it seems like most of the ROH Champs except Bryan and possibly Joe have attitudes

Assuming half the "reports" of heat are true, isn't most of it just bullshit that gets exaggerated because of the internet? We don't know what Big Show's issue with Rollins is, but I'm really kinda leaning towards "it's a minor thing that got blew up".

Big Show : this is Big Show, not Matt Hardy but y;know, in all honesty, these stories about so and so having "nuclear heatz" for innocuous things tends to make me think professional wrestlers are the most insecure group of people on earth.

I was talking to someone who seemed to know what he was talking about who said that Universal was allowing TNA to use the Impact Zone and their equipment for free as long as it remained open to the public as a theme park attraction. I have no idea how true this was or if the agreement ever changed prior to them going on the road.

You know, this has nothing to do with the story and I'm being mean, but:

I have no idea how true this was or if the agreement ever changed prior to them going on the road. I seem to remember something along those lines, too (or maybe was it "they can use the IZ for a symbolic fee") ; in any case, it was the reason why they couldn't charge anything at the gate.
