And the first guy to get a win over the freshly-returned RVD is... Alberto del Rio. They're never going to give up on trying to make this guy into the big deal they want him to be, are they? Unfortunately not, no . He has been given every opportunity that could be given (since day 1 on the main roster it's felt like a constant push) and he still isn't over, has a redundant character and is going around in circles. I think I would rate Del Rio as one of the (if not the) most overly pushed guys ever, as to me he is a decent in ring midcarder at best. I can't stand it anymore, I hope for the day he is no longer in the main events/just given world title runs like they are candy/in a prominent position. When is enough enough? Also hasn't he held the company up for money before, and threatened to leave even though they were investing money in him with the reigns? I swear I saw some newz on it in 2011ish.

CM Punk defeated Fandango.
Big E Langston vs. Dolph Ziggler will be the main event.

Between the Raw spoilers and tonight, they seem to be giving away a lot of the presumed Summerslam matches for free.

Sandow was out next to issue a reward for his case. Rhodes was shown on the big screen with the case and the segment ended with Sandow chasing for his case outside. Y'know, I can't help but greatly enjoy how they had a perfect story just in Cody being dejected about his best friend betraying him and maybe trying to still trust him for awhile and instead he's just turned into a straight-up sore loser and a dick. That's the face way, I s'pose. so the alternative is being an idiot, since that's what he'd have to be to try to trust him after. Yes, they should have gone with him being okay with Sandow winning but pissed at his behavior after, but do we really know he's not okay with Sandow winning.

I guess Big E vs. Ziggler was just an announcement of their match on Raw.

I'd like to see a series of segments where Cody just totally abuses the MiTB case to Sandow's displeasure.
- Like the next time that WWE wants to shill Sonic, have Cody just spreading out a burger and fries on top of the case and just eat the food as messily as possible, chewing with his mouth open, making some Mmm, "this Sonic Burger is so good it's like an orgasm in your mouth" noises, dripping sauce and crumbs all over the case and stuff.
- Maybe have one segment where he's cutting a promo close up. You see him grimacing and making goofy faces. The camera pans out and you see that he's sitting in a restroom stall taking a dump, the briefcase nested on the back of the toilet behind him while he's ripping some monster sharts (the loudest, grossest, blatantly fake sounding ones possible). He wipes himself, fixes his clothes, then picks up the handle of the briefcase with the hand he just wiped his ass with.
- Some other segment where he's training for a match, doing step ups on top of the case, and he's either barefoot, or wearing really dirty shoes.

Wonder what the deal is then... It was the dark match for the taping. Also, this closed Smackdown: Sandow was pissed and still looking for his case outside. In a throwback from a previous Smackdown in Corpus Christi when a certain someone got chokeslamed in the ocean, Cody had the briefcase and threw it into the Bay for a huge pop to end Smackdown!!! The case was shown sinking while Sandow yelled for the case and title shot. He jumped out of nowhere to find the case but quickly retreated and ended Smackdown with Sandow chocking on water from the Corpus Christi Bay.

People getting mad that RVD lost to the World Heavyweight Champion again. And this time Alberto can't even spit water.
Also, Damien Sandow....did he sing Randy's theme again?

I think I see the deranged logic of this Del Rio/RVD booking. If in fact Del Rio gets to pick his opponent who would he pick? Probably not Sheamus, who he needed every bit of luck to escape (even with Sheamus' bad leg) on Raw. If you read the Raw spoilers you know Christian is out. Orton beat Del Rio recently as well so he's out. Del Rio probably feels as though he's done with Ziggler. I think given this win tonight a cocky Del Rio names RVD as his SS opponent and WWE can do this "Is RVD washed up?" type storyline going into the PPV. Van Dam can wax him at SS and then they can keep it going a while.

I think Ziggler/E was the dark match for the night.

If there isn't dramatic music and Sandow running in slow motion after the sinking case all will be lost.
