With the talent pool available TNA has the ability to have a much better tag division than they do. How would you personally go about making the division strong and entertaining again?
Here is what I'd do;
So that leaves us with seven teams who are already established or who are in the process of being established and not only that but it gets guys like Aries, Roode, Daniels, Storm and Kazarian out of the tag title scene and off doing other things while not leaving too big of a gap where you've not got a tag title scene.
Thoughts?
Here is what I'd do;
Take Bad Influence and Dirty Heels out of the tag title picture for good.
Push The Bro Mans as a underdog face team with heart, lovable idiots who always are on the wrong end of a beating.
Make Wes and Garrett and official tag team with Knox as the body guard of the group. Wes and Garrett would be the egotistical rookies who think they're great when really it's Knox who is getting involved and winning them matches.
Bring in Homicide full time and and after the Bound For Glory series push a L.A.X reunion tour towards the titles, have Chavo work as the manager/mouthpiece of the group to fill the Konnan role.
Have Petey Williams and Eric Young reform Team Canada, they are another team who would get a nostalgia pop however wouldn't need to coast on it as they have the talent and charisma to back it up. Maybe run their reunion tour at the same time as L.A.Xs and have the #1 contendership for the belts hang between these two teams, one must fall while the other rises kind of deal.
Gunner and Storm are a good team but they should go their separate ways as Storm needs to be rebuilt and moved back up the card. Gunner should go back to his old veteran killing ways and put Storm out alongside his new partner Jay Bradley. Push Gunner and Bradley as a fresh, nasty heel team who are just all about hurting people and have them run the division until L.A.X is brought up to dethrone them.
Have Sam Shaw and Rockstar Spud team up as a jobberific squash team for the other teams to go over, even The Bro Mans. Everyone wants to see Spud get punched in the face and Sam Shaw is a good looking guy who is pretty athletic and seems like he could bump around for everyone in the ring.
Bring back Generation Me.
Give the tag title scene some sort of showcase per show, whether it be an interview segment with the champs, a number one contenders match or an angle to advance the title feud. An Impact should not go by where the tag title picture is not focused on.
