For today, I have the Pixies singing about a movie. Not that movie. This one is an art film with an infamous scene of a woman's eyeball getting sliced with a razor. Sounds fun. Here's "Debaser." Enjoy.

For today, we have a white girl singing about her big butt. Something I approve of, but not just for white women--for all women. Here's Meghan Trainor with "All About That Bass."

And, this edition's video is Nada Surf's “Popular.” I did post it once. So, YouTube recommended it to me again. Anyway, here's the video. Enjoy.

I have a very good excuse for not post a video yesterday: I forgot. Even worse, I was gonna begin a theme week yesterday. So, you're getting two today. And, this week's theme will be the internet. I'm gonna be posting music videos that went viral. It's Internet Week, and we begin with the most watch video on YouTube. It's Psy with "Gangnam Style." Enjoy.

Internet Week continues. Today, we have a video that got famous not for being good. It's pretty cheesy and bad. But, it's the kind of bad that so bad it circles around into being good again. It's Dennis Madalone with "America We Stand As One." Enjoy.

Internet Week continues. Today's Internet sensation features a man singing about doing it in the butt. And, since porn is very popular on the Internet, it's not hard to see why this became popular. Here's Samwell with "What What (In The Butt)." Enjoy.

Internet Week continues. For today, we have a guy whose viral video helped him get a job on a TV show. I think. I mean, he did end up on The League after this video came out. Coincidence? Maybe. Who knows? What I'm really trying to say is that I don't really care enough to research to see if my first statement is true. So... yeah... Here's Jon Lajoie with "Show Me Your Genitals." Enjoy.

Internet Week continues. Today's video actually became famous in 1987 thanks to the novelty of a white guy singing like a black man. 20 years later, it became popular again as a prank. You'd post the link to the video disguised as a link to some other site or vide, and the clicker would instead get this: Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up." And, here it is. Enjoy.

Internet Week has come to an end. And, with so many good videos out there on the Internet, it was tough to narrow it down to just seven. Luckily for me, I didn't have to. Weezer made a video that features a whole bunch of Internet stars in it. How convenient. So, to finish us out, here's "Pork And Beans." Enjoy.

Time for another theme month. And, a major announcement. I've been posting a music video every day (for the most part) for about 5 years now. And, after all that time, I have say that...
I'm getting a little tired of it. It has nothing to do with anyone viewing these threads. It's just become a bit of a hassle. So, I've decided to bring the Video Of The Day to an end. I will finish out the year, but after January 3rd, there will be no more. So, let's go out with a bang. This month, I will be posting artists and videos that I've posted quite often. It's Most Frequently Played Month.
And, we begin with Elvis Costello. A man whose music I adore. In fact, he was the first guy I've ever started with. And, it was hard to pick a video of his I've posted quite often. But, I eventually decided to go with the one that started it all. So, here's "Everyday I Write The Book." Enjoy.
